  • I perform the TEP procedure in an open fashion. Once I reduce or transect the hernia sac, I take my time to approach the upper border of the internal ring to the ileopubic tract with a couple of stiches. I also place the external aspect of the mesh around the cord elements as they enter the inguinal ring. Finally I reflect the mesh so I can cover the surgical incision with it. So far I can`t report any recurrence. I should take my own video to show you!. Humberto Sifuentes. Mexico
