Noodle headed Glenn one of the best white soul voices ever in music who can sing Hard Rock...Check out Trapeze Albums, "You are the Music, We are the Band" and "Medusa". RIP Tommy Bolin...Love Iommi...Why Tony are you making Fairy Dust Music instead of Angel Dust Music any more...,.
this is some pretty boring stuff , i was expecting something more , hughes does nothing 4 me in the singing dept , the chorus is passable though , this is pretty rehashed kind of stuff
I have had this song since it was only available as a bootleg. This song, as well as Savior Of The Real has to be the best unheard off metal songs ever recorded by anyone! This entire CD rocks. Iommi and Hughes just shine like no others have and ever will. I was glad when it was finally available as a regular CD release and download. Make sure that you turn up the volume to 11!!!!!!
your right glen hughes has a very powerful voice and him and iommi are great together tonys guitar seems to just enhance hughes they need to make the partnership final and make a group of it
What a surging riff is that!!!!! wow!!! it's a shame these guys couldnt have put a solid band together for 5 years or so...fuzed is one of my favourite all time rock albums and the dep sessions isnt far behind.
and the list is long...this is why you should appreciate everything in music......legendary voices are all over,.......and not to be hater....glenn hughes especially in the purple era is the boooooooooooomb
@rodposse1 My list is Ozzy Osbourne Ronnie James Dio Ian Gillan Glenn Hughes Tony Martin Rob Halford James Hetfield Jason Newstead Brian Johnson Bon Scott Bill Ward Sully Erna Zakk Wylde Eric Clapton John Lennon Paul McCartney Freddie Mercury
Remember this ain't Sabbath it's Iommi on his own album, he loves Glenn's voice and with damn good reason! Glenn technically is the best singer around at the moment from the classic rock era! Rock as it should be in my opinion. Peace all.
@bassvoxguy I agree, man. Hughes is a much underrated figure in the rock industry. But I don't care much for his vocals on this track. The music seems to fit Ozzy better!
i agree with you much, i think ozzy voice was the best for black sabbath even though he actually had the worst voice i think! but glenn hughes is one great ass singer and rocks out on iommi's albums
this is one of the projects that tony iommi was talking about in an interview, regarding glenn hughes. oh, i'm glad it's here. i couldn't find it on myspace. tony likes working with glenn, but can't do it in the states. the recording is awesome!
Yeah, this has gotta be one of my favorites lol. Too bad the tabs aren't out on the internet; I know all of these songs just from listening but I'm too lazy to tab them. I tabbed Saviour of the Real because all the other tabs for it were wrong, though.
Tony allways rubbed me the right way, heh?

Its amazing, Musicians tend to fade out in terms of songwriting, starting amazing, and then the music gets worse and worse
This hapened with the scorpions, metallica and numerous other bands
Iommi started at 1967 and he still rocks our asses off, and is now working on a new sabbath album
This guy is completely amazing
Rock Iommi Rock

I like it. Has a little bit of a Soundgarden edge to it.
Not quite as good as his next album, Fused, but good nonetheless.

Glenn Hughes did not fit in with sabbath at all, just listen to the voice that isn`t a sabbath voice at all.

Keep in mind that Seventh Star was an Iommi solo album, but the record label slapped the Sabbath name on it hoping to sell it better.

also because he by contract had to do one more sabbath album
