I love some of this type of music....but what I don't like about it is that there seems to be no dynamics. Everything is breakneck, 100mph from start to finish. It's fun for a few turnarounds then quickly gets old. I like throwing some of these type licks into other types of music. Blues or boogie... more emotion/dynamics or musicality to me at least.
Ignore those who suggest that you're not "playing from the heart" - that's code for " I'm too lazy to practice harder, so I'll criticize those who do". Those guys would have criticized Bach or Paganini back in the day, for daring to become virtuosos.
hey buddy!! met you the other week at the blues jam at carol ann's. i play with the all star band that did an hour that night for mrs. carol's b-day. met you and your wife? remember? hit me up homie.
Pretty good Brian, from a technical stand point. You are obviously a talented player. Theres no denying that. Tone it down a little and play more from the heart and you'll be hard to beat. Post some more stuff without the Superman title. We can tell your great but just play a melody. I hope to hear some more from you. P. S. Lucciano Pizzichini is billed as a Guitar Master. He's only 7. I reserve the title Master for Chet Atkins and Tommy Emmanual. Chet was and Tommy is a true Guitar Master.

Bryan that is some awesome " 280 " B.P.M you got goin on. Makes it challenging when when I rehearse at home, or at rehearsal. Your bassist " Booger " boy ! that's a nickname that'lll stick for sure.
Great playing and a few new ways of phrasing. Inspiring! Especially your chromatic runs. Keep jammin'!

@joch230 Well said. Many times the most interesting things are those that are *not* played.

Why do most country pickers play in the key of A? also that tone sucks, but decent picking none the less.
celtno1 6 months ago
@celtno1 It's easier to pick. Open chords are easier to run the neck than most barre chords.
TheSabastian19 6 months ago
@celtno1 That's a pretty standard tone for this style. Many find its whininess appealing.
