  • That's sooo coool ... :D lol

  • The way I see it is, every other style of dance in the world has evolved. We can keep our sacred ways, but to restrict our culture to the past is very unrealistic. We can stay native and EVOLVE.

  • That is a motherfucking disgrace. Regalia is sacred. The powwowcircle is sacred. If there are eagle feathers present, those are sacred (though they probably don't have any eagle feathers b/c this is probably a fake tribe's powwow). To disgrace all of the above things with dancing like that, or any kind of dancing that is lewd, is shameful.

  • This is a fuckin disgrace!!

  • As a Native American I find this very DISRESPECTFUL. To dance like this in sacred regalia along with eagle feathers is just wrong keep this kind of dancing in clubs and out of pow-wows!!!!

  • Wow, everyone is so sensitive!! You can keep the powwow culture, and have fun !! You can do both !! They have culture and fun!

Love it, love the native girls ;)

  • I find this to be so DISRECPECTFUL! If you only knew the origins of the regalia you would understand! Where r there Fathers??

  • R U serious! Stay on the east coast!

  • omg i want this song! where can i get it?

  • I find this so DISRESPECTFUL.

As natives we are trying to fight for our rights to proves to the other cultures that we are still traditional and that we Deserve some respect them you go and put this on the Internet.

  • This video is full of shit acting like stupid white people

  • i like the first girl---that's how the guy from ghostland observatory dances!

  • wld yu say frybread is a traditional food? it didnt come up til white ppl put us on rez!i know my culture very good how many of you know yur language?i bet not many.how many of yu who posted disrespectfull actully dance at powwows? i say about half.FOR CRYING OUT LOUD IT WAS AT THE END.ask yurself these questions.were the elders ok with it? did the arena director put this on?dont get mad at the dancers who danced n this...

  • As these young people grow older and learn more about the Native culture they will understand the disrespect shown in regalia. Many years ago the Europeans attempted to annihilate the Indigenous people and they began by removing our culture from us. We are all a strong people and we survived these attempts but not without casualities. This behavior is one of those casualites. I beg the Creator to help us all seek self repecting behavior. Mitakuye Oyasin- Oglala Lakota Elder

  • No respect for elders these days

  • Not cool hip hop is for clubs and bars not a pow wow....

  • I love hip hop music. I'm a teen. And I'm Native American. And this is disrespectful. Once you put on a Native American wear or an a Circle, like this one, you are to represent your tribe, you culture, and your elders. I know not to do this. Its disrespectful. I don't see how people could just cheer this on. This is not only hurtong how your tribe looks to other people, but it shows how much respect you have for youself and yous past.

  • @Lif3ovLov3 i agre with u

  • I am utterly appalled. How dare you bring that sort of thing into our circle. You want to dance like that out of the circle, fine, that is your choice. In the circle, it becomes part of me and I do not approve of it. I do hip hop style dance out of the circle, so I am not hating on the hip hop. It is the fact that those garments were made for a certain dance with certain music, dancing that way to that music is utterly disgusting. If you saw a nun doing a dance like this you would be upset too.

  • Entertaining!! i almost fell out of my chair laughing especially at 0;12, dont care too much for this but oh well lol

  • Hip hop does not belong in the Pow Wow circle....That is not the heritage....looks pretty stupid.

  • Chill the fuck out guys. I HIGHLY doubt the elders would even allow this if it was so offensive. I bet all the people who are so ''shocked'' and ''horrified'' are just haters of hip hop. GET OVER IT! they are having fun..not getting freaky on the dance floor.chill.the.fuck.out.

  • @creamsodaistasty So, by that argument, you would be okay if you saw nuns doing that type of dance in a church? I love hip hop, epic to dance to. I am also a belly, jingle and fancy dancer. I find this video offensive because the garments, music and circle are sacred things, to dance that way to that music is disgusting. If they had been out of those garments and just in regular clothes not in the circle, I would be fine with it. Elders cannot stop the will of another person, they only advise.

  • I hear you guys complaining a lot,we sould be happy that are young are even in that circle,at least their trying, even the Romans use to critasise their youth, but knowone gave those young men credit when they fought the Mongolians.yes alot of our past was takin from us but its up to us to teach them, the ways of the old.in a lot of reservation ,pills are causing an epidemic.,i seen a 11 year old boy addicted to oxy 10's now that is something that should be said,

  • this in its entirety makes me wanna vomit,,,IS THERE NO RESPECT EVEN ON THE REZ FROM OUR CHILDREN 4 OUR SWEET TRADITIONS,,,,IM TRULY HORRIFIED,,WERENT THERE ANY ELDERS WHO COULD HAVE STOPPPED THIS AWFUL BLASPHEMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 0.06-0.07 "I'M PICKINPOTATOES PICKINPOTATOES PICKINPOTATOES"! LMAO

  • why would anyone lower themselves like dis? dats so wrong. im disgusted. ?????

  • I was at another Pow Wow and they did the same thing. I do know the story behind the jingle dress and I understand why others may be upset. This dance was probably to help raise money for a group of people that were traveling. You can tell by the music in the background, it is not traditional Pow Wow music. The dancers there were trying to help raise money for the group and this is what they were asked to do for support. They put a blanket down for donations. Not saying it is ok though.

  • Hey, at least they are taking an interest in their culture, You guys still have your culture, you know where you come from. Us so called blacks have no culture, no idea what part of Africa we come from, no sense of identity. We are screwed up, only Yah, can fix us.

  • hi im hopi im just using my friends page..but yeh i dont mind ppl saying stuff to me about wat im about to say...my name is Ferlynn Loma... Wouldn't you have respect for your tradition to be doing this?? and from my point of view if it's not your tradition wouldn't you have more and the up most respect? i know alot of people say it's okay but if you were taught right..you should carry your tradition right.

-Stay true nd dont forget the words of wisdom

  • I've been to several powwows in which the MC encouraged other dance styles (ie. hip hop) to be incorporated into the traditional dance just for fun--not the whole powwow, but just a song. It's obvious from the other dancers that this is one of those instances--in which case, I applaud this fancy dancer for flawlessly mixing the two styles together. It's equally obvious that this girl must be an incredible fancy dancer also--with such fancy footwork & ability to stay on beat, there's no question.

  • This is not kool, go too a club an do that bull sh*t dance !! This is a pow wow for native music not that "hip hop".. -_-

  • this is maen im from new zealand will love to goto a pow wow maen beat what music isb it an wots it called

  • I would rather see this occur at a pow wow than any of the young people getting high with drugs/ETOH! In the light of todays societal SERIOUS problems, kids having fun, busting out w/ hip hop moves seems relatively minor. At least they are still attending and participating. And if you'll notice, alot of encouraging comments were coming from the onlookers in the circle...

  • Nothin is wrong with this dance

  • Wow grow the hell up really ? wtf is wrong with this dance?, kahnikeha is my culture so stfu id like to see u dance like this cause its not easy alrightt, You gurls r amazing :) ~ Kahnekawen:rat's

  • I would say that there's nothing wrong with hip hop dancing at a pow wow but I don't recommend doing it in the circle being that its sacred..

  • @warriorthruchrist You need to lighten up and realize that it was just for fun. Just because your a dancer at a pow wow that doesnt define your life, They are also kids and happen to like that music. They pow wow director let them take this time out from the pow wow just to have alil fun...It happens just like the mens jingle where a man wears a jingle dress and dances and you may also think its "vulger" lol but the point is Its all out of fun, your too uptight and need to lighten up

  • Its just a fun little moment not part of a traditional pow wow dont take everything so serious If your native american at all you know that indian always like to find ways to have a lil fun and its not ment to represent tradition or disrespect it either We also do mens jingle....OUT OF FUN!! So get ur facts before you open your mouth and judge these kids for having fun!! I hate judgemental people!

  • ..I'd rather stick to traditional dancing, but they had guts to mix traditional dancing and modern day music.... but what next? Heavy Metal Style Pow Wow?... lol JK xD don't bitch me out

  • LOL! I laugh at all the comments about "OUR TRADITIONS" They are having fun and all you think is theyre being disrespectful.

I bet alot of Elders Didnt Mind what was going on during this event. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. Whats the problem?

Peace and love NdN Brothers an sisters

  • @kiyalanae I agree hun people get soo upset over something soo small haha They obviously dance in the "traditional" way come one they are in their outfit so who cares if they took a moment aside from the "traditional" pow wow!! People who post negative just show how close minded they are

  • the girl in white and red can seriously move her booty lol

  • LOVE and RESPECT Bill Crouse! He loaned his voice to the hip hop beat to bring kids back to traditions. If you can't understand wanting that, then you have NO business calling yourself traditional or pointing fingers.

  • I am disappoint.

  • THIS IS A DISGRACE TO THE FIRST NATION/ABORIGINAL CLUTURE..... YOU MAKE ME SICK...

  • i think it is great you have folks having fun and dancing

i have gone to many that folks watch for ten minuites and then leave

    here everyone is enjoying themselves

ease up or you are going to lose more young ones

  • hey that's how the dude from ghostland observatory dances.

  • This is kids havin fun the way they wud today, back in the day im pretty sure the kids then did their own dances of the time. Besides, we all kno this wasnt the only dance at the pow wow, this was a break for the kids, freestyle you'll call it, nobody went out their expectin the kid to dance like that. Plus the guy the camera turns too, was pretty funny, i know he was doin that for laughs. Ease up folks, there's better ways to preserve our culture, like actually learning the language of ur tribe

  • WOULD BE NICE TO SEE HER DO THAT @ NDNGIRLS.COM!!

  • wtf?! look at dem girls towards the end! haha

  • Fxcking HOTT! Especially the girl closest to the camera :)

  • Seems great to me that these kids are even at a Pow Wow...give them a break.

If they are learning something form the elders while they are there, isn't that the point. And for the record, dancing to that music they way they did was creative and people should be proud of these kids..not talking smack about the very kids who will keep the pow wow's going if you do not make them run away...or make it boring. If I thought this dancing would bring the kids out to Pow Wow I would do it myself. Age 56

  • just havin fun

  • Personally, as a status North American Native, I wish I could move like that. I would probably hit the pow-wow circuit with my nieces and nephews.

On a different note, it doesn't matter how they are dancing, of course you are going to get a lot of ignorant and/or racist comments... this is the internet after all! Where everyone with a backwards opinion is allowed to make it. I just wish they would learn to spell!

  • @slimmmerman Thank you. I am native and the kids are just having fun. My mother would have snatched me baldheaded if she had caught me dancing like that but then she is seriously old school.

  • Where 50 cents and Lil Wayne with their bling bling and bitches?

  • Am I supposed to give them a dollar like you do in the Club?

  • i wonder who thought it would be ok... to disrespect a POW WOW!!! i've never been to a pow wow where the play music where u dirty dance in ur regalia...not coo!!!

  • everything is perverted these days... what a shame. Sex is supposed to be for love and/or procreation. It's so commercialized *I work in a strip club* and I'm so burnt out... I dnt care if I NEVER have sex again. I just think its sad that nothing is held sacred anymore

  • such disrespect, they should be ashamed of there self. when your at the pow wows you are honoring your family, your tribe, your people who servived you .im just saying, but please why the f**k, would you ever shake your own ass in front of your own tribe it kind shows that you dont have respect for your elder, the elder just want to know if your going to keep the traditions on going.

  • they not direspecting they are just having fun lol give them a brake

  • yeah now thats a pow wow this is Lil Eagal showing native Luv

  • all i gotta say is damn that native mans hot :)

  • Hah hah this is great! We are a nation of many peoples, and it is natural that each generation should evolve their own forms and styles of dance and dress. Nothing remains stagnant. Throughout all of human history dance reflects the mix of people who do it. Anyways, what's wrong with N.A.'s liking black music, and adding it to their culture? After all they valued black people so much they intermarried with them. Why stop there? It is all good. :-)

  • so what?! I'm native and I dance like that all the time!! it's a hip hop remix

and y'all need to get over yourselves!!

  • seriously i dont see the issue here....

a lot of people being offended by native indians choosing to do a fun dance in their pow wow clothing..... i dont know but i as a white wouldnt be offended to see the pope doing this, obviously it'd be awkward, and very unexpected, but hey....

  • this video is wrong rude and disrespectful you need to take off the jingle dress doing those kind of things a jingle dress is like eagle feathers it is not suspose to touch the ground i am only 15 and i know that you sieriously are ignerant for doing this that is a medican dress not a fucking sex coustume

  • OMG... that kind of dance is all about sex, which is a primal animalistic thing... thanks to our wonderful 'Americanization' (GAG ME!!!) We have become spiritually bankrupt and all we are left with are animal tendancies! It is really sad that we have forgotten who we are and allow this type of behavior to go on. I'd WHOOP MY KIDS ASS FOR ACTING THAT WAY!!!

  • @Nativegirl1985 hey native people have always been lhighly sexual beings why do people talk trash give it up u unhappy people love life and imbrassen creativity and love why the hating

  • @crimsonlove2468 is nothing sacred anymore? Why dnt they all just get naked right there and have a giant orgy since we are 'highly sexual ppl' I'm very happy. I cudn't assume why you'd think I wasn't?

  • Respond to this video... cud it be that I choose NOT to exploit our ancestors??? hmmmm....

  • I'll drink to that!

  • yeah, not in your jingle dress ;) lol

  • NOT IN UR JINGLE DRESS! :(

  • I bet some of our young guys don't know if they sould be turned on, ashamed or angry...LOL

But seriously this is not a Hip Hop song...People label these songs "New Age" (blend of old and new).

It's ok to have fun and all but probably not on the traditonal grounds of a Powwow.

Take it to the club or at home or any where else...People enjoy themselves at a "Traditional Powwow" and still love the old dances.

  • this is NOT okay at all be mature and stop acting like 6 year old i am 12 and i know the right thing to do.

  • what decent jingle dress dancer would ever disrespect herself , elders , or her dress by doing this shouldn't be able to dance this dance anymore. it's a medicine dance and should be respected. as for the other dancer they should be ashamed of them selves for behaving in this manor.

  • dude its a newer twist on pow wows chill the hell out!!!!

  • Lord have mercy !!!!!!!!

  • All controversy aside...in these times we as a people are learning once again with a new slate. It will never be as it once was, we must accept each others differences and celebrate them. Which I believe is what this is about. What is most important is the energy that is manifest from the event. All is not lost.

  • this is amazing! it's modern for the new generation!! luv it

  • @brasrica

    just no..

  • @brasrica no it is not and i am traditional and so should all native people.

  • First of all comparing black to this obscene behavior above is disgraceful and shameful I am African american and Native american and do agree that this is not a pow wow and a true disrespect to the ancestors but, dont try to shame one race to build another that is just imitating the actions of our opressor ,we are both people of color ....

  • Disgusting! That is so disgraceful to our elders and traditional ways.... I'm offended, traditonal pow wow should be kept sacred. I wonder what our elders would think of this .... Wow

  • Anyone know what tribe this is in the video??

  • Comment Continued, Don't get me wrong I LOVE HIP HOP n LOVE MY POW-WOWS, I have NEVER GONE to a hip hop club in my regaila and a drum talking about lets Fancy Dance, every1 would look @ me like I jus cam from a mental hospital.. all I'm saying is I had tons of fun @ pow-wows, and I AM full blooded, and grew up on a rez, its not about traditional its about knowing whats right from wrong, You girlz a hot dancers both hip hop and native, but you need to draw a line somewhere.

  • I do find dis 2 b disrespectful, yes I understand da Natives n these "hip hop pow-wow vids" r just trying 2 have fun, BUT if you r native, u know once you r n a circle, its 4 honoring ur ppl, not only 4 ur realitives whom have passed away, but those who live now and will live in the future, n if u want 2 have fun do it after the pow-wow n outside da circle, n if its too much 2 ask change in2 ur "street cloths"- u wouldnt b poppin @ da alter n church, so what makes u think its ok to do it there

  • For give them creator for they no not what they do!!!! Leave this for the club/ strip clubs you should be ashamed of your self....

  • That's cool! Putting a modern twist on pow wow dancing! I don't think it's disrespectful to traditions. But if we are going to start yapping about disrespect toward our traditions, well capitalizing on our traditions (i.e. Contest pow wows with admission, selling jewelry, native foods, doing mainstream musical influences like rapping or country in our native tongue, & tours of our homelands) is just as bad if not worse. Let the kids have their fun. They could be doing worse things.

  • this video is disrespectfull!!!!!!

  • You know, in a way your being racist by saying this is disrespectful and a joke. Who said they were trying to be black? So you have to be black to listen to hip hop,If thats how they choose to celebrate leave them be. Im black and native american too and i dont think its disrespectful. Its not like theyre destroying things and doing drugs and acting crazy their dancing. Dancing is an expression of self and if it was so bad to do so we wouldnt have these dances in the first place.

    Nipaahum Maxkw

  • This music was created by a Seneca Faith Keeper on the Allegheny Reservation . He was tickled when I told him that the kids were having a good time dancing to his smoke dance remix. TImes are changing folks. Before you go off on me yes I am a Native American woman of the Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) people.

  • humor is a great trait of the native people. and of course this would be a fine example of it... i don't see why everyone gets so upset...thier are plenty of natives out there not even dancing powwow and wear colors to represent their gang and to knock these dancers here for being original and having some fun it just shows that everyone who disagrees with this video is. their not trying to be "BLACK" as some of you would call it. and it is not disrespecting anything

  • @nativehoney1606 the only people being disrespectful are the people who have such negativity about this video

  • if none of you "traditionals" like it wtf are you watching it for who cares the only ones who do care are to ignorant to move ahead

  • im a full blood but i thot it was kewl never been to a masquerade? ppl dress up 4 halloween nd hit the community hall n dance native dance all nite so y wud this b any diffrent we all hav r opinions represent ur native pride in ur own way besides whoz to say wats "indian"?

  • I think this is not proper. Is this a joke. Disrespecting the Tradition. lol not funny and so retarted looking. Acting like white man. No disrespect but that is what it looks like.

  • I think this is not proper. Is this a joke. Disrespecting the Tradition. lol not funny

  • not to be a stick in the mud, and im not Native American but i mean if they like to have fun like that, let them do what they want to do... if may not be in your nature to do that sort of stuff but seriously stop hateing.. and hey not all WHITE PPLE you talk about are wannabees, there are natives and africans and mexicans that are wannabees to so before you start opening things up you better rethink yourself, and my boyfriend is a bboy and is native and he has fun

  • What the fuck???

  • wow, i ope they get fucking banned fomr Pow Wow dancing!!!!

  • @anishinaabeMNCFN i agree white people are WANNABEES

  • Im native American and this disrespectful but fudge it hip-hop powwow.but yeah

  • all yea i kile that

  • talk about disrespecting the native way and the regalia!!!!

  • Looks like they are having fun. :) Let it go.

  • it looked the people having fun to me

  • Comment removed

  • "ok how many true indians did you see"

p.s Indians are from India.. how many "Indians" did you see in that video? none? thought so.

  • @edanika161 Indians are from india. but there are also "true" indians in the u.s. they are two WHOLE DIFFERENT cultures. thats why i hate pasty white people. im proud to be an indian. White people no NOTHING ABOUT INDIANS

    "native americans"

p.s. Indians are from Montana, North and South Dakoda, Wyoming, etc. Anywhere.

  • ok how many true indians did you see I SAW NONE DANCING AND BEING DISRESPECTFUL I HAVE MY OPINION AND IF THIS IS WHAT YOU CALL FUN THEN OBVIOUSLY WE SHOULD BE MOVING THE POW WOWS TO MORE GHETTO PLACES!! SERIOUSLY THIS IS NO PLACE TO DISRESPECT AND I WAS TAUGHT BY MY GRAND MOTHERS AND FATHERS WHAT THESE DANCES MEANT AND THIS IS JUST UGH IT WOULD FOR SHURELY PUT THE TRIBAL DANCES TO SHAME! AND IDC IF ITS FUN LEARN TRADITION!!! AND THE REASON Y WE ARE LOSING OUR CULTURE IS BECAUSE OF THIS

  • @sur13princes10 You are right in the way of keeping tradition thriving but during pow wows there are free style dances after the more traditional ones usually and this is done to let kids express themselves while participating in a manner that embraces the old ways while showing their youth and desire to be a part of it. Including newer generations into the mix keeps the unity. I doubt anyone there would put traditons last.

  • @sur13princes10 i respect indians so much that when i was 6 i use to study your history, even use to wear a arrowhead around my neck to feel connected to native american culture, so were the thougts of a 6 year old..:) but not to sound disrespctful, this is why the land was taken from indians because you believe in sum force outside of yourselves when the only force on earth is a man or woman making things happen. these same dances didnt do nothing for you then and want now. man is the only truth

  • @sur13princes10 your losing nothing worth really hanging onto, the days in the belief of spirits existing outside your body are over. And im sure most of these dances where made from the basis of that. if they are not dances for sum spirits then yes hang on to them, for those are practical dances, that really can identify with sumthing that can be proving, joy, happiness,a good harvest,i will even say a rain dance or a war dance. but ghost dnces or anything dealing with spooky stuff leave it.

  • does anyone know the name of the song they are dancing to?

  • @AngryActivist45 oh ok. and what you just typed isnt second grade? who would give an response like that to what i have typed in this room? only a derelict like you would. someones whose comprehension is no more better then a little kid.

  • omg i go to those every yr. i have the same jingle dress as here...........and by the way im native american not indian my tribe is im colvile and proud of my heritage and culture..

  • wat song/chantr????

  • I am half black and half Lakota. I would never go to pow wow and disrespect my ancestors or Wakan Takan by "shaking my ass". My people are proud and respectful people. I won't volunteer to bring shame to my tribe. I don't judge anybody but they're aren't many of us left and what the world knows about us WE BRING NOW!! We have more to bring than this and it's not traditional

  • @Lakotachik ......lakota? you dont have an ass!....more like a pancake with a manbody...hahahah

  • @Lakotachik what ass? haha

  • @Lakotachik you'd only be doing halfway anyway. It's a pow wow whats the big deal, now if it was a sundance or ceremony i'd understand your feelings. Pow wow were and are gatherings for the tribes to get together and celebrate and have a good time, not to be stiff and have rules, seriously lighten up you seem to be playing the half native card out. our traditional culture needs not to be exposed and exploited anyway.

  • OMG are you serious it's not the year 200 it's 2k!! Get over it traditions change with them times!!!

  • @Lakotachik what the hell are you on? pow-wows were never traditional. they were made AFTER the white people got here. before then each dance had its own purpose. pow-wows are commercialized and most of them is about winning the money. their about letting go and having fun which is what they seem to be doing. you my dear are the one bringing shame to our people by being a stuck up asshole with no real knowledge of what the culture is about. go troll somewhere else, or grab some fucking sense..

  • @Lakotachik how would that work out? if you dont shake it.. then u would let down your black ancestors

  • @noelIsadore19

i respect mixed, but your not honoring there black ancestor, they honoring the native ancestors at.a pow wow

p.s if this sound racist im sorry it was never supposed to sound like that

  • @Lakotachik Okay, they were just having fun,. so Get over it ayy.

    lol

  • @Lakotachik... THERE haveing FUN there is 2.5 million native american + more that is anof so like i said THERE HAVING FUN!!

  • It's disrespectful to us as well, to see our children dancing like this. But one should be careful how we say things. "Never seen so many ndns trying to act black" Trying to act black? We are so close, it's funny. They don't have to try and act black, it's in the gene. it's in your make up. The way one dresses has a lot to do with the mentality of some people. People had shirt and ties on when they were killing black people and native americans. Look in the mirror.

  • @akilmosq24 Yeah I agree with you. My dad's half Black/Choctaw and my mom's full Choctaw....so yeah that comment about "acting Black" makes me half offended like we're stereotyped or something. I dance jingle and would never even THINK of doing something so disgraceful and disrespectful a dance as that. Hell, the elders probably would drag me by my ear to the nearest chair!! That's a dance for OUTSIDE the circle, not it where it's sacred ground. And shame on their elders for not stopping them.

  • thats real stink! lol

  • ever sick.

  • Comment removed

  • @10sunboy

why do the youth want to express themselves? as why do the elders ( much respected) want to show there views?

  • @10sunboy wow i get where you coming from 10sunboy but who are you to say dancing like that is acting black

  • OMG are you serious it's not the year 200 it's 2k!! Get over it traditions change with the times and our four fathers I'm sure would agree to having fun once in awhile!!!

  • hi everybody, i was born many times in diffrent life in different times. i stop drinking i am be my self i am humane being, i am a child of the univers, like everybody. move on, ride on. we need everybody. i like this dance of black powerfull poeple. just try other things and be open. peace. :-))))))))))))

  • @TheCauseOfWetPantiez ..there was nothing like that before the white man came here u ignorant fuck..why don't u do some research on what actually happened and why most natives drink... did the woman in ur family get taken away and raped ur children taken from there homes to be put in catholic schools only to be beaten and raped and basicly turned into slaves... by people who are suppose to be the children of god??

  • @TheCauseOfWetPantiez listen here u dirty like fucking white trash... remember who's land ur fucking ungreatful white people took over, the families u ruined because the white people are fucking greedy as fuck... remember who introduces our people into the booze..

  • that's being disrespectful

  • this must be the coolest pow wow.. i never seem one like this b4.

  • beyond disrespectful this is y people dont respect our culture... be ashamed of urselves

  • they look like they are having fun xD

  • @DaemMetal Nice rage! You said that like it's a bad thing.

Hey, why don't you skulk the internet for pictures of toddlers playing on slides?...oops, right, you already did.

  • @nikkitra disrespect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • disrespect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • DISRESPECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @DaemMetal In Comanche tribes, teen-like porn is etched into the walls of caves.

  • @TheCauseOfWetPantiez , awww you're so silly and witty! I have all the confidence in the world that someone such as yourself has probably never been laid a day in your life. I'm also confident that some day, you'll likely end up in jail and Bubba would be glad to show you how its done.

  • disrespectful.. man!

  • i know their doing this for fun..but since i rarely see this kind of dancing at any powwows i go to..this to me is disrepectful..or maybe just odd haha

  • I find it humorous that most of the people that had something negative to say about this video don’t even show their faces on their profiles! What I find even more humorous is the fact that most humans feel the need to bash others just to make them selves feel superior. So sad the human race!

  • @ShakaZuluGomez

Enough with the ridiculous 'white people are the devil'. There's only one kind of racism - the type that discriminates based upon race. That's exactly what you just did.

Times change and with times changing culture must change or be wiped out by evolution.

This is fine to me. If any of you so called proud natives knew anything of the traditions and culture you would know there is a time for tradition, and there is a time for fun.

    Idiots.

  • I love this... it's Amazing to see something from the Chickahominy tribe. My grandmother is actually Eastern Chickahominy, but now lives in New Mexico, with my grandpa, who is Navajo. I rarely ever see anyone from the Chickahominy side of my family because of the scarce amounts of people around. I hope one of these days I can check this PowWow out, and take my dad along, he'd love it.

  • so.. i know everyone hates this video.. but i like the SONG! does anyone know the name of it?

  • I find this really offensive and especially if white people are gonna dress like this and make fun of us native people and who even made up this idea!? SHAME ON YOU !!!

  • I think that you all need to just chill out. So what if they were having fun at a powwow. Why are you raggin on this? Why not rag on switch dancing...oh wait...it's having fun, I forgot. who are you to tell who can and can't have fun. Why did race get involved in this too? who cares about "half breeds" or "full bloods", as long as they know the culture it shouldnt matter how much their blood quantim is. LEARN TO HAVVE FUN AND JOKE AROUND...SHEESH.

  • @AngryActivist45 in you angryfukker i feel the devil side of you making these comments, because the orginal man side (indian) wouldnt say bullshyt like that. the blackman and the red man are the orginal ppl the white boy is the devil. only the white boy doesnt want blk brown red yellow to ever have common ground to unite. fuk cares if it is hip hop that unites us, let it be. fuk uniting with white ppl. i bet if it was areosmith you would be happy! punk azz chump

  • indian nations. they havent changed since the civil rights days of martin luther king. and just cause a few low class white trash say that they are diffrent we begin to say,"oh not all white ppl are bad". THAS A BUNCH OF BULLSHYT!! just cause a snake isnt poisinous doesnt mean it isnt a snake. and if a white person does good, great they will be rewarded for that good, but by nature they are evoil. they cant change who they are.

  • @AngryActivist45 im sure you may not pay this any attention because from the looks of it you are not very much liked on here. You say you half breed I wonder with what? if it is white pardon me everyone but I have to say this and this goes for black ppl as well. If you are mixed with white it is a disgrace if you accept it. this was the same ppl that murded all our ppl and to now lay in the bed with them is a disgrace. they havent changed since the days of the broken treaties they signed with

  • @AngryActivist45 act black? really? thumbs down seriously.

  • the first time i watch it was smptember lol

  • Things are different in every culture now. This is a different time. If you want to keep it traditional then great, and if you want to remix it then that's fine to. Have fun with it. Express native pride in your own way. So for the people who are so critical why don't you just worry about you and let them do what they want to do.

  • i'm looking at this and im just thinking... ok sure, its a hip hop "dance" at a pow wow... i personally have never that at any i have been... not even the competition ones. but i find it funny cuz out of nowhere... where did those white girls come from? lol i always find it interesting to see them dance at pow wowss, especially in ridiculous outfits that they consider "indian regalia"

  • THIS IS WHAT YOU CALL A MILLION DOLLAR INVESTMENT, BUT YEAH IT IS JUST A POW-WOW THOSE WERE ONCE SACRED WHERE WE NEVER DANCED FOR MONEY BUT FOR THE OUR ANCESTORS n' FOR OUR GREAT CREATOR BUT AS I KNOW HIM "TUNKASILA"

  • we cant expect our culture to be the same as back in the days, we cant expect our youth to be perfect these days with all of the drinking and drugs and peer pressure to fit in, atleast there going to powwows making an effort to keep our blood strong, and who cares about half breeds or quarters or anything, ive met white people that know more knowlege then full bloods` but were comming back were gonna come back strong <3

  • @Celialouiee well you must only know appled full bloods cause where I come from there is more knowledge that a full blood Oglala Lakota would know then a stupid white man that fuckin almost left our culture/people to an extinction at one time but we fought back so don't say shit when you don't shit ok?

  • @WeGrowWeLearnWeSeek well thats where you are from and thats a good thing, but where im from the Syilx Nation we as a nation were falling apart into Alchohal and Drugs but thats all changing it you know whats changing the Nation? our youth, and the youth didnt know much about the culture but they do now, and yeah it was unfortunate that some of there knowlegde came from a white guy but THE WHITE GUY GOT THE KNOWLEGE FROM THE ELDERS, and he is now a honorary Syilx Member, so stfu :)
