I love how you show that art doesnt have to be an expensive hobby-you seem so down to earth. I really appreciate the "doesnt have to be expensive" viewpoint-I've seen other videos that encourage using all expensive materials. On another note-i've splurged on those pencils myself and love them :)

@kookikreations Your comment make me very happy! Thanks so much for the comment! I am super stoked to hear that my message is coming through loud and clear. I like to splurge on good supplies when I have some extra money and I know that what I am buying is worth the investment. But I also enjoy discovering and coming up with new way to make supplies myself which had really become as much of my creative process as making the actual artwork.

TOMBOW! They make a great tape dispenser. I thought I was the only one that used those products...of course not. Great video.

@smileartkid Thanks so much for the comment! I am using both composition books and heavy paper sketch book. I like the composition book as a light weight inexpensive idea catcher and I use the more expensive art book for ideas that I already have a pretty good grasp of what I am trying to develop.

I have not tried any of the commercial spray inks, but have loaded up my spray bottles with the Rit dye and alcohol mix that I use on my DIY ink pads and have had good results
