Cute song. But, I don't quite see the point in pledging allegiance to the earth unless we are talking about extra-terrestrials. If it isn't about green people I don't think there is allegiance to be pledged(seeing as there are no separate groups). I think that peace and mutual respect is a valid enough point to be made without making an obvious reference to the "Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag"(American one).

Thanks for the comment. When I wrote the song, I was trying to Pledge to an international feeling; the notion that I'm going to try not to hurt anybody. I wasn't really thinking about extra-terrestrials, but I guess I include them, too, should they someday become known to exist.
