+1 I have never had a 7 walk on me.I have seen quite a few but in my 15 years of building DSM's all my 7 bolts ran strong....what a lot of people don't realize is that any engine can have excessive play in the crank shaft...it's not a DSM-solo problem....this is one reason why I switched to twin discs in all my cars....not too many people realize that those heavy ass pressure plates prematurely wear your thrust bearing....causing all the play....let it go long enough and it's all she wrote....

No I actually thought outside the box and wondered why we even have power steering at all.

Take the belt off for one day. You will love it. It feels so much better, it makes everything easier to work on. You can also get rid of the whole power steering mount and cut the engine mount so it is much smaller.

I can get a MK3 turbo supra for about the same price as a 1G DSM and the MK4 is just as cheap and easy to mod........I know bc I have owned modded and raced both cars......MK3 supra is a ton more reliable too..........DSM's are in the shop more then they are on the road

I'm a dsmer and I'm moving up to a supra cause I want more of of an adrenalin rush, yes dsms can be fast but a supra can be faster, and a supra is a much nice car. I'm always racing from a roll anyways cause no one ever wants to go from a dig. I love the ford guy at the end, I raced my buddy who has a cobra and he broke his motor after the third pull and i drove him home in my dsm, so ya go ford.

supras are cool, moving up means moving to a supra means moving up in lots of things :) dont expect cheap easy mods like a dsm on a supra.  You will spend shit load of money on your supra and spend half of it to get the dsm that fast.

@sean98gsx I understand this post is 3 months old but the fastest supra time is 7.52 @ 190. As for 10.5 class (how much of the actual car is left in this class anyway lol) I can't say the supra itself made it but the 2jz made it into the 3s at the 1/8 and 6.4 in 1/4. Is there a faster dsm?

Im a supra guy but I believe dsms are monsters too lol. Not looking for a fight, just trying to gather more info on different cars.
