@TheMidnightShot Beleive id rather not have to buy new Fairings but its gonna have to happen lol most of them are missing the rest are cracking in horrible places. As you said in your other reply to check out Airtech, Yeah i actually have and plan on using their parts. Whole set is gonna cost around 750.
@DCW09 But i will tell you, it is deffinately worth it. When I painted mine to the new look, mine were in great condition, but i did have to fix some spots. I know it's alot, but the looks you will get, and when people see the bike.....it's worth every penny.
@coyotesnper Yeah, Mine are still there, but!!! I did lay it down last week. In a field that was soft luckily....broke the mounting tabs on the left where the upper and the lower meet. Not bad, nothing plastifix cant fix. But yes, the only problem I've had this year with her is the rubbers where those tabs go in......had to replace them all due to dry rotting from the previous owner. Look on my page for Bringing back old school....That's what she looks like now......I love this bike!!
@TheBjjrev you can get the color code from the local honda dealer. Click on my channel and look at the Breaking out old school vid. That's what she looks like now. And I used the factory white and red.
@mengle2004 no they didn't. I don't know much before 87. Honda has several engines available on the CBR's, but no 750 that I am aware of. It might be the cb one.....
Thanks!! I've loved these bikes ever since the first one I saw when I was 8. I always have looked for one, just never had the money, or couldn't find one fast enough. This time I waited and voila!!! I've got one and now it's time to put it back to looking like the day it came off the showroom floor......If I can keep from riding it!!!
Ah, man, That's a gem of a classic sportbike...great review and awesome overall knowledge of the history of that guy...if you ever wanna sell it, make sure you lemme know..=) Thanks for posting,

Had a 88 600 in 1990. Was Awesome. The only complaint was the tail plastics. The pop tabs broke after the first year I had it. Really miss that bike.

Did this bike come in a 750? I saw a Raptor for sale on craigslist that said it had a cbr 750 engine? Kinda think he might mean CB750.
