im playing this at my school and im a trombone so i love this song :D but we have like 18 trumpets in a 80 person band and only like 3 of them can play this good and our clarinets suck and our band is just bad overall i guess haha
a fine march by sousa and a personal favorite - not the best recording though - the us marine band does a better job on their heritage of jps recording - thanks zzahier
Sousa, wrote one march for a military academy , it was the Dauntless Battalion. It wasn't for West Point or Annapolis. He wrote it for Pennsylvania Military College.

Great tune written by Sousa for PMC (Pennsylvania Military College), now Widener University. One day I'll post the PMC Band's version of this tune.
