When I was younger, industrial, and goth edm dancing were pretty similar to regular raving, just with a lot more stompage. This choreographed arm spinny stuff is crazy to watch, but I couldn't imagine a whole crowd getting down like that. Maybe a few caged gogo dancers, but if the whole crowd was synchronized "pong" dancing, I would laugh too hard to pay attention to the music.
