everyone disses Alienware for the prices, but you have to look at what you get with the systems, you get all that stuff in the accessory box, keyboard mouse, mousepad, hat, so on. and in the system you get that case which in itself probably cost a lot more than regular cases cost to make. They you get the Alien FX with all the lighting which no one else has really. you have to look deeper to see the price difference. then still comparable to others. my HP, and Asus came with nothing.

Thats a nice rig no doubt but alienware is expensive. It's just my preference but i only buy their laptops. I don't buy their desktops cause i can easily build the same machine, and save some money. For your specs i can build that for 1800 with a monitor.

@thdt4114 I just bought an Aurora ALX, with many upgrades and it was only $3,500 before shipping (this is without a monitor, by the way).

I have 1TB raid 0 (stock), Core i7 960 3.2Ghz (upgrade), 9GB Ram (upgrade), 2GB Radeon 5970 (upgrade), and I upgraded the warranty. I also added in a wireless card, though that was obviously fairly cheap.

All in all, not bad, you get great service, repairs, and better-built machine than I could ever hope to do myself.

probably not, or atleast not until the drivers support it (which is unlikely)

but normally you can put two cards together if they have the same clock speeds, but the problem is that the 295 has two GPUs inside of it, which could cause hell if you're trying to Tri-SLI.
