Gumball used to be about car enthusiasts having fun driving. The event had some dignity to it. It was its own. It was about the cars, drivers and pushing both of their limits on public streets.

It is now a parody of itself with extensive public corporate exposure. It is all about media exposure now and not about automotive enthusiasm. It used to have a guerilla underground feeling.

Pretty soon everything will be about branding.
