I find it funny when people talk about 'society' like it's this separate thing outside of those of us who don't seem to conform to SOME individuals' notion of propriety. I realize it horrifies you, but, if society exists as any meaningful concept, we're part of it too. I often wonder what the likes of the Revenant Phelps "think" about where gays come from.
