  • This happened to me when I shot at a deer. Arrow broke into three pieces and took my watch right off.

  • what does that even mean???????????

    What is flex and twist?

  • @icemantheman you slightly bend the arrow and twist it and listen for cracks or pops to make sure there are no cracks

  • @Bassmaster26107 I thought flex & twist was referring to the bow holding hand/wrist, where you flex your hand as you release, and twist? but what are you twisting.

    Seems like you're just trolling...

    someone else confirm plz..

  • What is flexing?

  • i had this happen to me about 6 years ago but i checked my arrow and it was fine but i went from a 60lb draw weight to a 70lb draw weight and i didnt have the proper spined arrow for my bow

  • i had this happen to me too, and i always flex and twist after every shot. the last 6inches of my arrow ended up in my sight thank god! im not shooting carbons right now. wish we could see the rest of the vid, i went to the website and couldnt find it. pitty that some people are more concerned on how to make money then to show a whole vidieo that might save some ones hand !!!

  • And the point of this video is?

  • @MightyNateDog The point of the video is to always keep safety at the front of your mind. When arrows blow up during a shot, it can devastating. Luckily, no-one in this video was injured because a machine was used to shoot the bow. Still, injuries do result due to broken and weakened arrows. They can be prevented when proper safety precautions are taken.

  • I didn't know you had to flex after every shot, I only thought you did it to new arrows. Thanks for the advice, and awesome slow-mo footage!

  • this is why my bow is getting repaired. easton arrows arent that durrable. 3 day old $100 dollar repair all because of a freakin arrow fracture.

  • @Lynviking There is no argument....

  • @Lynviking Any arrow can break and must be inspected no matter how much you over pay for them.

  • Where is the full length video? The justpassnthrutv site is down.

  • couldnt find it ,, what a Gee Up

  • barreltrollololol I removed your comment because you used foul language and this might be seen by a child we dont need to do that.

  • @grttaxi do u think a child would be looking at some one shooting a messed arrow and most kids see dislikes and leave so u really dont have to remove it

  • We had this dude at the archery club he shot a compound with X7 Eclipse aliminum arrows and the moment he shot the arrow seperated into 3 parts and pierced his hand. People archery is a verry safe sport but accidents happen everywere. Statistics have shown that sports like soccer and baseball are more dangerous than archery.

  • @exviperdrv Shooting Edge Technology has a glove that has kevlar on the back of it to prevent this kind of accident from happening. After videos like this I wear mine all the time.

  • great tip i had one blow up and stick in my hand it sucked i check my arrows every time i shoot know but i learned the the hard way

  • You have to be crazy to shoot a broken arrow,

  • @blackfeatherarchery they didnt know it was broke thats why we made the video so everybody would check them before they shoot.

  • @grttaxi Man i check all my equipment archery is dangerous.

  • @grttaxi - BULLNARK - YOU MEAN YOU FILMED 10,000 ARROWS BEING SHOT AND FINALLY THE POOR LIL ARCHERY GOT A BROKE ONE - ROFL!

HEY, PINTO, YOU DIDN'T EVEN MAKE THE VIDEO - IT WAS MADE WITH A HIGH SPEED CAMERA, WHICH YOU DON'T HAVE - SLOWED DOWN BY TECHNOLOGY YOU DON'T HAVE - AND YES, THE VIDEO MAKER KNEW IT WAS A FAULTY ARROW - WASN'T IT MADE BY EASTON?

  • @jehovahuponyou okay if the guy knew the arrow was broken why would he shoot it???? i dunno why anyone would shoot a broken arrow into the back of there hand to make a video. learn what the hell your talkin about and leave people the fuck alone.

  • @bowtecharrowbuster - HEY JASPER COOKIEETTE, DID THE ARROW GO IN THE BACK OF THE GUYS HAND? THE ARROW WAS BROKEN DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF THE FLETCHING, THE TRAJECTORY WAS THAT WHERE THE ARROW NEVER TOUCHED HIS HAND - AHD IT, THERE WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ENOUGH WEIGHT IN THE VERY BACK OF THE ARROW TO DRIVE IT INTO HIS HAND ANYWAY!

LEARN SOME MANNERS BOWFUCKER AND LEAVE ME THE DOUBLE HUMP FUCK ALONE - YOU LOSER!

  • This video shows nothing but ad, i didn't like

  • just to avoid more people getting pissed off when they finaly find the video. he does NOT get injured!

  • just to avoid more people getting pissed off when they finaly find the video. he does NOT get injured!

  • What do you mean flex and twist after every shot?

  • @ZBruteForce750i It means bend them almost like a bow and twist the whole arrow like a screwdriver to see if its warped or if the arrow snaps from light force.

  • Wow that looks bad. The worst I've had is the nock seperating from the arrow and hitting my hand. That hurt like a b***h!

  • and thats why i use aluminum.

  • @TheGaf3 aluminum bends and dents easy. Ive seen a video where the aluminum arrow has a dent and it breaks there. So u cant even bend to test the aroow. Its all about visual observations. Wich can make things much tougher to do. I think id rather have a few splinters than a jaggid razorblad coming at my hand :P

  • I've had 4 carbon arrows come apart in flight. Luckily, no injuries. That's why I shoot Easton FMJ's now

  • This is why I won't use carbon shafts. Aluminum for me. chs2inb, do you still have pieces of carbon in your hand?

  • This has happened to me... Twice ! Always check your Arrows ! ! !

  • Hmm, now i'll start wearing eye protection when shooting my compounds... Hope nobody was injured.

  • I couldn't find the video on the website

  • @24pointbuck

    Me either!!

  • @21oPlato Well I saw it on TV the other day lol

  • @24pointbuck

OK, thanks! I guess they included it in the show & not a separate video.

  • @21oPlato It was bad but it didn't hit his hand or anything. Just broke right up at the fletching and kept going. Could have been a lot worse though

  • @24pointbuck

Thanks man!! Looks like the wrap & angle it hit the rest saved him.

    Found it, episode 4.

  • @21oPlato where can i find the full video ????

  • @123maxence321

Contact the folks at the website in the video. They changed their website. It seems they took allot stuff off it.
