Where did you get that soul kit? I ableton lite and i dont have it, is it because i have lite?

@TheFizzyFrost You have to create and save your own drum kits. Take old drum loops and chop them up then create your own patterns out of the kit.

Do i need the full version of ableton in order to slice audio to midi????? cuz when i right click on an audio clip it never gives me the option to slice.

@Chachirobles Not exactly sure. Are you clicking on the clip it's self (the small rectangle) and not the sample editor?

@thebookofjoy Yep, it will map it across your keyboard as well...they pads and keyboard are basically the same thing when it comes to Ableton chopping the sample.

And I'm feeling lost right now. What I did was drag some synths then I dragged down some drums and recorded some drums. Now I want to go back to recording synths (playing sounds on my keyboard) But I don't see the record button... It has all turned into stop buttons.. then why do you buy a pad?

@deejaysoulution One more thing, I realise I'm having some delays and it's driving me crazy. I tried opening FL Studio and AbletonLive together and yet I don't get delays with FL whereas I get some delays from having only Ableton live on... Is it just because their samples are more complex or something? The sound quality is much more natural.

Btw I've solved my previous problem where I included the screenshot.

@thebookofjoy Sounds like latency with your sound card, try to decrease the latency in your sound settings in FL and/or Ableton.

good video. I also use live but with Maschine. Do u ever use an echo effect? I have yet to find an echo that I like in the Ableton effect rack, any advice?

@EddyKnucks Yeah, Maschine is dope. The best delay IMO is the ping pong delay, I just throw it on a return track and make a few changes and I am good to go. Check it out.

nice man. One question, how come you have your monitor set to view at 4:3?

If you set it to 16:9 you will gain screen real-estate and improve picture quality.

@ProfessaKA0S I have an old video card, only displays 4:3, it sucks, but it is what it is for now. I am upgrading soon.
