Hi friends! Christmas day is not pagan as some suggest. It actually destroys a number of pagan festivals. Some say that because Nebudchadrezzar and Herod killed on their birthdays, that all birthdays are thus offensive to Jehovah. This is not true , because the evil was not the Birthday, it was what they did on their day. For those who don't know about the Watchtower Society, it doesn't matter if a person is a baptised Christian, a believer and lover of Jehovah God, a believer and follower of His Son Jesus, and still obeying closely all of Christ's words, and a lover of righteousness, and not practicing sin, not a believer of the trinity doctrine, they will still excommunicate and shun you even if you question the 1914 doctrine. Also if you choose to leave and follow Jesus, instead of the Governing Body.
my grandma is a JW and she allow this cult to destroy the relationship between her and her oldest daughter. they told my grandmother not to talk to my mother unless it has to do with business and she did just that. and my mother died, not having that mother daughter relationship with her mother that she wanted. my aunt took blood over20yrs ago and till this day,people wont talk to her because she decided to wanted to live instead of die. and the number of old men preying on young girls is crazy
I used to be a JW. I left after 2 years as I decided it was not a God I knew. My God was love and peace, and I could not not relate to a God of 'excessive discipline'. This talk of wrath etc was confusing to me. However 10 years later, I get it. I committed sinful behaviour that could now by life threatening. I completely understand the need for 'house rules'. I am an ex witness. My own mother, who is an active witness, has decided to cut me out of her life completely. A choice the witnesses believe is for the best when a member becomes disfellowshipped or has chosen to leave. I chose to leave 4 years ago and I don't regret the decision but this religion leaves a permanent scar and has torn apart my family.

I had first heard a little bit how the JW are when a childhood friend became one a few years ago and they won't let her speak to her mother who is dying. I have been looking for a church and a friend of mine agreed to go church hunting with me, he said that he had went to one of these a few times and took me there. I didn't know it was a JW place, but even though I had never been to one, when I walked in the door it was not hard to figure out. I felt so bombarded. Weird congregation.

the jehovh witness religion distroyed my family... wen my mom was married to my father, he physicaly and mentaly abused her. but since they were jw she stayed with him out of fear for 20 years. she finally had the courage to leave him last year but she got DF because she found a boyfriend. my sister has shuned her and when i turn 18 they encouraged me to do the same. but wat luving god would make a daughter do that to her own mother???? they can DF me all they want but im staying by my moms side

you guys cannot blame the jehovahs witness for your childhood issues. How can they be sexes when couples marry in the kindom hall?. Its a personal choice to be a jw how come you cannot respect peoples decision?.

@SoldMySoul4Rich I am exposing the lies of the Cult of JW not only for the wrongs they committed against me but also the countless other lives and families this cult has ruined and separated using manipulative doctrine. Women in the Cult of JW are never held with the reverence of men. They are looked down upon and constantly reminded to call their husbands lord always having to be in prostration to the male sex. They can not give talks are even pray in front of men. It really is very sexist!

I had first heard a little bit how the JW are when a childhood friend became one a few years ago and they won't let her speak to her mother who is dying. I have been looking for a church and a friend of mine agreed to go church hunting with me, he said that he had went to one of these a few times and took me there. I didn't know it was a JW place, but even though I had never been to one, when I walked in the door it was not hard to figure out. I felt so bombarded. Weird congregation.

...and there are a number of organizations that facilitate the destruction of lives - literally. Tobacco & alcohol companies....credit card companies....casinos.....I mean come on.
You two should have a cigarette, hit the mall and charge something nice, play a few slot machines, have a drink and relax.

the jehovh witness religion distroyed my family... wen my mom was married to my father, he physicaly and mentaly abused her. but since they were jw she stayed with him out of fear for 20 years. she finally had the courage to leave him last year but she got DF because she found a boyfriend. my sister has shuned her and when i turn 18 they encouraged me to do the same. but wat luving god would make a daughter do that to her own mother???? they can DF me all they want but im staying by my moms side

@damoki808 this is the outcome I now face in a few short months, my husband is abusive and I am getting out, I think they are going to label me an apostate or something, my husband abused me and my children, and after 14 years I just cant take it anymore.

Very good, EXPOSE EXPOSE, they are a very dangerous cult. They look for recruits all the time and most of the people inside have been groomed (brainwashed) until, their whole life is meetings, magazines,and very strict dress codes, also it is a mans club, women are treated like garbage, if they dare question the mans authority. I have never been one(JW), but my aunt was and her family, they looked down on me as I was growing up, because the cult is half pride and half blind and BS, Jesus is GOD

I hope you ladies will have much success in exposeing the truth behind this cult. I also hope you find the loveing grace and freedom in our savior Jesus Christ, who is God. The Alpha and omega. Who once was dead but now lives for ever and ever. It breaks my heart ever time a sweet talking JW knocks on my door because I know if they die before they see the truth they will spend eternity in hell.

it seems to me ex jws were the most unhappiest people I have met until they left the faith But with respect I call jw faith a cult why because it destroys family's you have to give half of what u earn to the kingdom hall is it? Yet jws say they respect other faiths yet they don't if they did they would not preach their what I call 'a faith that is a cult and in my eyes its not recognised to me as a faith in anyway at all My heart goes out too former jws and how they are treated which is so awful

Thank you for the video. I live in Northern VA but would very much like to meet and talk to people who grew up in the JW religion. It is so hard to find people who truly understand the craziness of the cult. I feel so alone sometimes, and it feels good to know I am not alone. I have joined your meetup and hope to talk to and hear more from you soon. Also, the documentary is a wonderful idea, I have often thought of writing a book about my experiences with the JW's, so good idea!
