Great MMV. captured some great moments of the Berserk manga, but I fiercely agree with the ;;abuse and want to be abused'' placements. You place them on casca on being raped, gatts wanting to held her in his arms after what griffith did.

It took away great emotional value.

Seriously, just read this epic manga. It's very heartwretching and youll be surprised at how well the characters are made and how the emotions flow...

Indeed this is perfect. I've seen the anime 3 times. The love story is good without becoming too ridiculus, the bond between the men in the band of the hawks is realistic and the ledership skills+ divinity reputation of Griffith is exactly what makes a general in real life too. The fight scenes are sometimes silly, but overall it's a great anime, and also good manga.

@genestarwind7 I won't dispute that it's becoming more and more difficult for him to come back from the armor without Schierke's help. But that's the armor. If anything it seems to me the personalities are becoming more and more split (he's calmer/kinder outside of it, and more psycho in it) - which could be attributing to the difficulty in essentially prying the armor OFF when it needs to come off. He hasn't had training in controlling the armor at all or channeling his hatred properly.

The big problem though is the way you portrayed Gutz and Casca's relationship, and it was pretty disturbing to put it in this light...I personally would've focused more on the "dream" concept, portraying the inner torment of the characters

Also the words are very distracting... I think we all know the words to this already, this isn't a sings along....

People always like to discuss Guts' inner demon, the hellhound, but you have to remember; Guts is going insane. The hellhound could easily just be his insanity boiling over in this form in an attempt to cause massive violence to everything around him. It could also just as easily be his imagination.

When he goes up against an opponent, he still has the rage and demon hatred going on, which triggers the armor. But outside of that, his resolve to protect his friends is extremely strong, and he's resolves to "take the bridle" and control himself. It's true that he has mental issues, and that's what the hellhound represents, but I don't think he's in danger of losing it soon.
