  • Compare and contrast.

    /watch?v=tzBil08LQeU

    Then discuss.

I can only say that Pearcy is having a good enough time but obviously doesn't give a crap anymore. Also, it seems Bobby Blotzer is kicking even more ass than back then imo. Discuss amongst yourselves and I'll be back.

  • WOW!!! I realize that Steven is getting up there , but Christ his LIVE voice is total toast...I haven't seen him sound even close to good live since around 2001 and he looks exactly like Eddie Van Halen did 5-6 years ago when alcohol was tearing him up.

I will , however, buy there New Album. Heard 3 songs from it and it sounds UNBELIEVABLE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • wow this is awesome! this was when music was fun and there was talent! where is all the talent today i wonder? Oh yea there isnt any!

  • @gogo976 TRUE THAT!!! everythin is crappy nowadays and people lost their sense of hearin and call trashy artists of the present talented.

  • RATT RATT RATT! Put away the cats and go to town!

  • RATT N ROLL!!

  • damn i never knew ratt played in wallingford i wouldve went i just saw judas priest and whitesnake there last week it was a killer show.

  • that was on my birthday ;p

    I love metal

  • I LOOOOOOOOVE this song! Haha... Ratt is amazing

  • nowadays these bands play to the childrens of their wild crows from back in the 80's.. just a thought

  • Ratt were underrated. They were one of the most talented of the Hair bands, and hell they still sound pretty kik ass. Love the riffs in this song.

  • They should bring back hair metal.. I like thrash and all the new stuff but, I want the fun back in rock metal and the cool image. Every body now looks like a serial killer or a geek

  • Yeah dude thats true !, Rock n the 80's had alot more fun in it then music now a day's

  • YEAH MAN. i know i'm growing my hair out. This is a tribute to 80's hair metal. I mean the image of todays rockers is kinda lame. i miss the long hair, riped cloths, and amazing skills in shreding!!! haha long live the 80's!!!! BRING THIS MUSIC BACK!!!

  • @pyrogod90 totally bro back then music was awsome and fun, but now in this age it turned super lame

  • @pyrogod90 So true. The 80s metal bands might have been pretty girly, but they usually had a shredder on guitar.

  • Gyro911

Exactly, what u said. Bring on the fun! All that psycho ain't helping man.

Fun = untalented, none fact. Mental will Kil= Fact.

  • @Gyro911 Couldn't Agree more.

  • warren is still fuckin' HOT!

  • How does warren break a string but stay in tune using a floyd rose?

  • the floyd is flush with the body as well as the springs in the back are probobly pulled pretty far back which made up for the loss in tension. It happens to me on my wolfgang alot.

  • Man, I'm a black dude, but I've heard them so much even I know the words. I love Ratt's music.

  • I think alot of people re judging Steve on the music videos and not on their live shows. i think any band that gets up on stage has to get some credit for trying. On stage, live, thingsdont always go right. you do your best.

  • i knew right from the beggin that you would end up winning..

  • man, stephen still can't sing. he should've thought about all those high notes in the 80s... would he be able to pull it off in the future. i play for a living and can still pull off all the notes. too bad he can't... love warren, tho!

  • Yeah, but nobody knows you.

  • lol

  • Why dont the lead guitarist's harmonize the guitar solo anymore?

  • 2:32 Broken string. You can see it hanging and then he goes over and tells his other guitarist about it. Gotta love Warren! Met him a few years back....classy guy and a great player!

  • Yea u can tell cause john, the other guitarist is laughing when he gos over to warren.

  • Firehouse rocks, they used to play at Harpos in Detroit years ago!.. great band.

  • Warren's chops are stunning. He broke a string towards the end and still carried on playing an amazing sheets-of-flame solo Phenomenal.

  • For some reason, I like this group!

  • i was there ratt was okay but poison was much better you could tell pearcy was having a tough time singing

  • omg... is he singing or talking his way through this live version... I love the studio verson so f**king much... but live this is SH*T. Sorry and I love this band...

  • its good that all the "big" groups in the 80's are doing fests together and trying to sell out fairs in small towns in the US. Huge in tokyo still I bet though

  • out of the cellar went triple platinum

  • I saw these guys in 2005 on the Rock Never Stops Tour along with Cinderella, Firehouse and Quiet Riot (at Mohegan Sun). Ratt, at that time, had Jizzy Pearl singing lead. I must say that Ratt is a great band.

Also, Quiet Riot was completely awful!

  • i was at the mohegan rock never stops show to i thought ratt was not that bad with jizzy pearl but i agree that quiet riot werent good at all but i'm still glad i saw them when kevin dubrow was alive

  • Wasn't it awful how a lot of people weren't notified that the concert was starting earlier than first announced? I mean, a lot of people missed a large portion of Firehouse's set and they're an amazing band with some great musicians.

  • yeah that did suck i got in right towards the end of their set it said 7 then it was suddenly 6 that was awful i think thats the reason that show was only their once

  • Love the wall of Marshalls !!

  • The Crowd sucks. When i Seen them back in March the crowd was move hopped up on Meth and singing

along to every song Stephen is still pretty decent on the vocals But he doesn't suck.

  • Is this the original lineup, don't recognize the other guitarist on the left hand of the screen.

  • RedArrow2007: It's impossible for it to be the original lineup due to the fact that the other original guitarist (I believe his name was Robbin Crosby) died quite some time ago.

  • It's John Corabi, the guy that replaced Vince Neil in Motley Crue awhile back.

  • um... its steven piercey... it doesnt matter what his voice sounds like.

  • Warren is loaded most of the time.

    Great player otherwise.

  • I was there!

  • haha they were laughing wen his string broke

  • his voice is so shot, oh well! i wanna see ratt so bad i hope they come to winnipeg!

  • I saw them 2 days ago- he was right on 100%, however- they do this song last, He's just exhausted. 2 hour set

  • Is that Pearcy? Sounds like age has taken a toll on his voice.

  • nope... it was the smoking.

  • Ratt&Roll

  • why didny demartini harmonize on the solo? did he miss it, or are his chops rusty?

  • i was at this show...if you look carefully..one of his strings on his guitar broke and thats why he couldn't do it

  • good thing he had his trem blocked... would have been a disaster otherwise

  • thanks for posting

I'm not sorry I missed them when they came to town last year.

  • theyre coming to sweden june 2008. does anybody have a fresh set list?

  • Not the same without Juan and Robin

  • Ilove this band Ratt Rocks ¡¡¡¡

  • i hung ouy with the drummer, Bobby, tonight. funny motherfucker.

  • pearcy needs to throw some more hair over his face that ugly motha fucka but he fuckin kicks ass

  • wasnt as good as they were in the 80's but there getting old but can still rock better than the modern day crap

  • mas bandas como estas y no mierdas como metallica, viva ritchie blackmore.long live heavy metal.

  • great band and sound-saw them at monsters of millenium in nordic hallen sundsvall sweden 2000-great to hear them live-Robbin was missed though..R.I.P ROBBIN-YOU NOT FORGOTTEN.

  • "Ditto" to u all. At least most of u.

  • I saw them right where this was filmed.

  • i saw RATT play at the state fair in august 2007 they were frikin awesome!!!!!!!

  • Whats to hate ? One of the most influential bands of the 80's ! Everyone has their time in the sun, and then the star fades. Don;t hate !

  • SICK SONG AND BAND.. fuck all u haters, they might be alittle rusty but think about all the drugs and alcohol all of those bands were taking and they are getting kinda old but they can still kick us... RATT FOREVER!!!!!

  • So old they can't play their instruments?sounded fine to me,20 years later, still playing, thats a pretty good career!how many albums have you sorry ass critics sold?you guys crack me up,go listen to "good charlotte" or"simple plan" which I'm sure is in your mp3 player right now and quit posting your useless comments and opinions like your somebody special.

  • I agree with u

deviouslyellen :D I love bands like Ratt

  • If they approach this from a business perspective they can actually make a lot of money being living jukeboxes. I'm sure if they ran a real tight ship they could tour as much as they wanted and make a good living. Just couldn't have an entourage/groupies/rails of coke everywhere/stretch ferrari limos or whatever. why the hell not, it's actually a commodity these days. Keep Rockin'!

  • man what a secret EVIL pleasure this is! I can only imagine how many account reps, marketing executives, and sales engineers had tinnitus the next day at work.

  • ha! i have the same shirt as the drummer!!!!!

  • what the fuck? no duel solo??

  • look at 4:20 Warren has broken a string! so he cant do the solo! so he just does backing chords to fill in.

  • ahhh I should pay more attention

  • This is just wrong....time to retire....booze and drugs have taken it's toll.

  • so true, so sad.

  • Les saluda un FANATICO, desde Lima-Perú.

  • Pearcy hasn't aged well. Was fun watching him play before RATT when he was the lead singer of Searge!

  • pearcy just didn't seem on his game that night..but still a good show!

  • Jizzy Pearl from Love Hate man that guy just wasnt ratt at all! I seen Ratt with him a few yrs ago with that moron Corabi on Rhythm guitar. I stil cant believe he went from singing 4 Motkey to a rhythm guitarist, hes got a cool voice i though wven though i cant bring myself 2 listen to that Crue album with him! Im a Cruehead cant dis Vince like that.

  • every now and then when someone replaces a well known(original) singer is the same....look at Skid Row,....or Warrant- i can't stand Jamie St. James on vocals..

  • You fucking penis. Corabi was always a guitar player when he fronted the band 'scream' , but i'm guessing you are young and don't know any better. Jizzy can still sing properly too, which is better than this performance by Pearcy. But Ratt still rock anyway.

  • The Crues biggest mistake with that album was calling the band Motley Crue!! Should have named it something else. I love that album!! One of my favs! Wicked tunes on it!

  • There have been three different versions of RATT, two of them touring at once... it's hard to keep up with which one you might be seeing. The singer from Love/Hate (yes, they suck) took over with most of the original RATT band for a while... 2003-2004 maybe before & after those dates.

  • The concert in Salt Lake this past summer was excellent! I hope Ratt comes back!

  • tribute band...

  • no...its not

  • wow that wqas wierd

    !!!!!!!

  • Is that the guitar from the Lay It Down Video??

  • No, it's not even the same people.

  • The money goe's round and round. Still a good song. Still a good sound.

  • if you view the new Yokohama live footage, he sounds pretty good, when he's not screaming so much, he still has the rasp without the twang! Good vibe in Yokohama

  • ducking every note like the no-talent fraud he is. Pearcy blows mules. Warren rocks.

  • What a shame. He's lost his vocal edge and touch. Life in the fast lane......

  • That is Stephen Pearcy - he just doesn't sound the same.

  • Warren still shreds!

  • thats not stephen pearcy!

  • Lol, okay, I'll give ou that one, but only because C.C. is a REALLY! and i stress, REALLY ugly looking guy. Hahaha.

  • what the fuck dude?? of course its stephen pearcy, who did you think it was!?

  • I wish I was a teen ager during the 80s

    :_(

  • i kno i always fucking say that i wish i was like 16 in 1983! i hate all this new shit music!

  • I saw them a couple days before this in KC. was a good show. poison is freaking gay though

  • RATT RULES FOREVER

  • that guy singing is stephen percy

  • No, It's not Stephen Pearcy sadly..... I wish the original Ratt stayed together.:(

  • you are an idiot. yes it is Stephen Pearcy. retard. Robbin Crosby is the only one that aint there, cause he died of aids.

  • Get yer facts straight

"He tried to work on musical projects, including one with ex-Ratt bassist Juan Croucier but relapsed on heroin after moving a friend from his past, who was still using, into his new apartment. Crosby died of a heroin overdose (not of AIDS as often believed)in Los Angeles on June 6, 2002, two months prior to his 43rd birthday.

  • read the heroin diaries. nikki sixx states that he died of aids! how do you get aids? FROM SHARING NEEDLES.

  • No, Juan Croucier isn't in the band anymore either.

  • he didnt die of aids...he died of a heroin overdose

  • no way thats in ct, if it were, you should of decked the lil f*cks in front and started a pit the old CT PunX way, never forget why dave mathews band is banend from hartford

  • What no harmony solo?

  • there's no harmony solo because warren's string broke after he played his part of the solo.

  • Is that Stephen Percy?

  • When my dad said RATT sucked live I didn't believe him, but OMG! I've seen only one good live performance on youtube.........

    THIS IS NOT IT!!!!!!

  • Warren's still got "it", even with a broken string!

  • Ya, thats warren up there

  • I'm not sure. Maybe someone else knows?

  • The only two original members i noticed are the singer and drummer.

  • isnt that warren demartini up there?

  • Ratt Rocks!!!

  • I don't know why I bother reading these rotten comments from people who have nothing better to do in their day but to tell other's what a crap life they lead.

    This is simply music.

RATT rocks. You should be happy you can see this on YOUTUBE.

  • Is that Mr. Blotzer I see back there on the drums?

  • Has to be either the Blotz or Leif Garrett judging by the goatee :P

  • I hope it's the Blotz and not Leif. By the way...checked out your faves; you and I have similar music tastes: Ratt, Dio, Ozzy, Maiden (the "Paul" years of course), etc. Nothin' beats 80s metal!

  • Why the hell don't they do the cool guitar harmonies anymore? when one plays the solo the other just plays rythym

  • probably a "rank" or "ego" deal between the new guys, where one is "rhythm" and one is "lead" unlike the cooperative effort put into it by Warren and Robin back when they were still hungry

  • I was dead wrong. Vocalist buddy of mine informed me the guy on rhythm is John Corabi AKA Mötley Crüe vocalist!!!! So before I opened my mouth..err typed... like an idiot , again, I checked the info... Oh Yeah..from John Corabi's official site " John Corabi has been writing, singing, and performing for over twenty years,...John Corabi joined Motley Crue..

  • (cont.) ...New tour dates posted! John Corabi will be appearing with Ratt all summer long on the bill with Poison and White Lion. The newly reunited Ratt features original lead singer Stephen Pearcy, Warren DiMartini, Bobby Blotzer, John Corabi, Robbie Crane. Please check out the Tour Dates page for more information. "

  • i'm going to she this show sat....i hope this is just a bad recording cause i don't want to spend my money to hear this shit

  • don't judge off a bad vid. i saw them last month,in A.C nj, w/Poison. it was like the 13th time i seen Poison, & they were incredible ! best i seen 'em yet. moreso, it was the 1st time ever i seen Ratt,(w/pearcy) & they were UNTOUCHABLE, totally awesome !! even briefly hung w/ crane & corabi aftershow, in hard rock bar ( both supercool) . do yourself a solid, and do NOT miss Ratt !! they're back in a big way. incredible show. Enjoy !!

  • Ratt shoudl record a concert with proper cameras and shit, bootleg copies don't get a very good sound they won't sound anything like it really does.

  • well a bootleg is most of the times even better than an ofiicial release if its a soundboard recording.

  • ratt and poison were not the same type of band, ratt rocked so much harder then poison, poison was more, poppy metal, ratts music would knock you teeth down your throat, fucking out of the cellar, was one of the best metal albums period of all time

  • i think the singer sounds alright. It could just be the way that the sound was recorded on the camcorder. I like this vid!

  • Damn even after snapping a string Warren still owns ass. Id have to say he is the best on the touring circuit right now.

  • hell yeah dude! and most important: he owns even the messed up (floyd rose) tuning, because of the snapped string! warren`s the shit!!!

  • listen im tired of you fucking retards saying stephen sucks at singing so what he dosent sound perfect like in a studio but have you ever thought? that he might sound better in person instead of when some dude with a shitty-ass camera recorded its gonna be Boot-leg Stephan is still a pretty good singer though i will admit the smoking has gotten to his body and his voice but

  • I thought I was exicted to go to the Poison/Ratt concert. May have to re-think that one.

  • actually Ratt and Poison are co-headlinin at least that's how it seems. Seen em in Southaven, MS and Ratt blew Poison out of the water :D

  • not one singer in the band. sad.

  • hmm... love ratt and poison.... to me, they are the same type of band

but pearcy voice wasnt the best here at all.

  • A SHAME

  • Warren broke a string...

  • Why are they opening for poison?! I saw Poison open for them way back when. At least I can leave the show after Ratt and not have to hear one lame note from CC.

    RATT N' ROLL!!!

  • i,m going to this show augsust 21 at verizon in noblesville

  • i knew right from the beginning that you would end up winning, classic, this fucking song rocks, u guys kicked ass, in st.louis, hope you come back next year

  • Is that DeMartini on guitar?? Have they reunited? I'm not very up to date, sorry...

  • Yes that's DeMartini. Stephen Pearcy, John Corabi,Bobby Blotzer and Robbie Crane.

  • I wish Juan would come bacl

  • who are these people the only one i recognize is stephen pearcy and he looks like a bag of shit

  • i saw them. were they wit poison? cuz thats who i saw wit them. they were great

  • i met those guys backstage in myrtle beach corabi is awesome

  • i saw them 6/30 when they hit Boston!!!!

  • this song freakin rocks.

  • dude thanks for posting round and round and slip of the lip ratt n roll 4evr

  • Damn I miss the 80´s

I get all teary eyed hearing this stuff

  • Yea, 80s were the BEST in rock!

  • I wish they came to Brazil to play all these 80's hard rock classics.

  • can someone please tell me the complete setlist for this concert, i am going on august 2nd in st.louis

  • Proof that Ratt is a true rock band when the leadist breaks a string and the other covers and takes over. Great vid!

  • Saw these guys several times...if you see them live, watch Robbie Crane on bass...sexy, funny, talented...got to hang out for a few hours in June and watch these guys toss a football before a show, had photos taken with Crane, Corabi...very nice guys, and John has some really cool stuff rolling around in that head of his. And he smells like patchouli.

  • Man, Stephen looks horrible =/

  • su mejor cancion; ya espero el dvd.

    RATT FOREVER

  • Can't wait to hear this song in Toronto at the end of August

  • Haha. Same here bro. I'll be there. Gonna be a awesome show.

  • Pearcy isn't even trying.

  • busted a string right at the solo....BUMMER.....doesn't matter, it's the greatest song of 80s metal....what a well written song

  • Thanks for posting......COME TO ENGLAND!!!!

  • Unless that was their last song, I wonder if Warren kept playing with the same guitar for the rest of their set.

  • Jizzy sucked, THANK GOD STEPHEN IS BACK!!! THIS IS RATT!!! Wish Juan would have came back.

  • i think pearcy does it well considering his age now...sure he cant sing as high but its still in tune, just deeper

  • Pearcy sounds weak!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
