N.B. : why do they always say,now, that Micky Free is only "Native American" ? I would say that he is more a "Black Indian"; i.e. : Native american mixed with black; it was more visible on these days, less now cause he has his hair straightened ! (and I'm sure that I've read it a couple of times somewhere...)
...it's only when their last album "Wake Up" came out (in 1990) that I really dropped and knew it was over (for them as well as for the other funk groups...) ...No; ...no joke,that period of the eighties was HOT as hell ! The eighties at their best point !
I liked also that line up when Micki Free and Delisa Davis joined the group (after the departure of Jeffrey Daniels and Jody Watley...) ...to be honest, I also liked when Sidney Justin replaced Howard Hewett in 1987,cause "visually" -if I dare say- they were hot, and they used to rock ! (though a bit androgynous,particularly on the "Circumstantial Evidence" album...but still, they got the style...) and artistically speaking too : the "Circumstantial Evidence" album was still a good one
