There's so much un-tapped talent in Irish contemporary music, and theres no doubt that there'd be numerous successful acts if only there was an comprehensive and effective development/supporter structure in place.
The fact that the FMC only gets 170thousend is a joke.
Rock and indie has a much better chance of success here and abroad then classic arts like opera and ballet.
