I didn't get a choice in being circumcised. I don't even know why I was cut. I'm sort of afraid to ask my parents why.

Well it was probably decided for more than one reason. Firstly, I'm guessing the rest of the family had it done and they didn't want you to be the odd one out. More importantly, it was probably done considering all the health benefits, not to mention the aesthetics of it.

It clearly shows exactly how much choice and decision is involved in infant/child circumcision as well as how much ability he has in avoiding it if that be his choosing. Choices made by others regarding one's own life are NOT decisions/choices but a violation of his basic Human Rights.

Circumcission is WRONG, WRONG, WRONG!!! Because I was circumcised I have less sensation in the head of my penis so subsequently chose unsafe sex. Now I'm HIV+. Shame I wasn't left alone - I might still be HIV-negative.

It doesn't prevent HIV. That's a dangerous assumption that prominent doctors are afraid men will make because of the infamous study on the Ugandan reputable doctors around the world. It doesn't take into account the behavior modification of the men in the study--all from Africa--and the fact that they could no longer afford prostitutes and might have increased condom usage. You still have to wear a condom if you're circumcised. Cutting won't protect you.

Agreed! As one who remembered that tragic day, I am very well aware of the terror that the baby feels, because I KNOW. The` pain of it feels like you are literally being skinned alive, I do not exaggerate. It is the only time of my entire life(over 50) that I truly felt TERROR.

It was kind of odd that the cutter looked like a characature of a rabbi, and that he was after an adult. Also, there was a framed swastika in the guy's apartment. I know that can also be a Hindu symbol, but why include that?

People who assume all anti-circumcision discourse is anti-semitic are nuts. For one thing it's mutilation no matter why you do it, and for two, there are 50 times as many cut Muslims as there are cut Jews.
