It reminds me of the stuff Bowie made with Eno around the Low period.
Electronica like the android/alien before the picture of the heartbroken singer Billie.
I like the way the backing singers sound at the end and the grotesque pictures too as though from a carnival setting. This is in ways that aren't obvious a new video in your collection, a combination of music and images I haven't seen before. Very nicely made Micke.
@CurtisMateer I disagree ...this has nothing to do with Eno or Bowie and has everything to do with Roy Orbison...Remember "I drove all Night"? ...there you are ...
@LBjim Hi Jamie! So do I, heard them already in mid of seventys and hold on to them since then. Rates Bryan Ferry´s These Foolish Things as the best cover album ever, incl. lots of diffirent covwéralbums from Elvis, Cash etc. It means world class, new album is a great one. THANKS!! Michael
absolutely special sound of this.. another heartbreak song... so beautiful this vid but this tube life is driving me nuts. I finally called the one I love on his bluffs, or are they. I just dont know this tube relationship life is tougher than real physical relationship/life .. just this song/ mixed signals.. egad.. but yet.. I love this video you did a remarkable job, Michael. I really hope you have a wonderful day/ night.. I have to got back out to the alley very soonmeow meow hugs
Hey Michael. You do a real nice job augmenting the song with creative visuals - nice work. When I saw "Heartache by the numbers" I was expecting Guy Mitchell's version - a hit from the 50's I remember well. To me, this song has more of an 80's sound to it -but what do I know. Anyway, keep up the creative work. - Karl
Nice video, yea it a bit old school Roxy about this song, it got a nice feeling.

Very nice words, Pete!
I like this song a lot and
also the albums who includes
lot of Eno. Phil Manzanera and Andy Mackay
from Roxy Music too, makes the album with lot
of influences from past times.

The chorus has a similar feel to "tryptich" from country life.

Thinks Ferry here on the new album
tries to get influences from past times.
Sound is very amazing, lot of musicians
who makes the songs instrumental brilliant.
Thinks you have right, it sounds a lot of eighties.
Thanks to your comments Karl-
