you know they always portray vietnam vets as hippies. the dumbest shit about that is, my father was born in 1941 and was in the navy for 12 years okay. And he went to Vietnam 1971-1972 and saw a ton of shit. So, he didn't come home PTSD, with a head band around his head and didn't do drugs while fighting. Those hippies are such a big fat fuckin' stereotype.
And as for Tom Waits, he rocks. Hippy Veteran or not in that film. I was just stating that the stereotype is not always right.
God, I'm just the same as Tom. I record the oddest stuff. an intersection in Milan, get twenty minutes stereo...I recording men sanding off the paint outside my bedroom in my san francisco flat, which is a huge, giant sound when you are on the other side of the wall, then when they would stop, I would toss the cassette into my stereo, and play it back through some big pioneers...completely flip the workers out. Recorded mornings in Costa Rica...gorgeous sounds...birds, insects...rain...
I think I'm the only Pole watching this video

Seems a wonderfully appreciative documentary. I'd love to have with English subtitles. Great performance clips. Knock out stuff.

If only they would've just made Polish subtitles instead of voice-overs...
I'd love to understand this one!

Unfortunately that's how Polish tv works..
They do that with feature movies as well!
Just one guy reading all the dialogue!
Weird, ey?

I guess all those Polish jokes were true? This is stupid.
