Pretty harmless. I was first pranked about 2 years ago. I had no idea wtf they were doing. I just thought to myself "there's nothing there" as I slowed down. I just laughed my ass off and finished driving home.
I did this with plastic wrap, and wrapped two phone poles. A guy got out of his car with a machete, at least thats what it looked like, and cut it down. Me and my friends re-wrapped it and then a guy in his jeep ran through i, then got out and saw us and started cussing us out. It was the most fun I ever had with industrial sized plastic wrap.
i did this to a jeep he stopped about 200ft away then he ran at my friend and my friend ran into the near by woods and the jeep hit a tree and we both got the ^%$& out of there
I used to do this about 25 years ago when I was about 9-10 years old. Although back then it was called the "string thing" You guys need to sell it more we used to get people to literally leave skid marks on the street. Try it in the daytime when more people can actually see you tugging at something
what kids dont understand is most people arent falling for the "trick." most people just slow down or honk because kids are in the street and they are being safe.

my friend tried doing this and some old lady got pissed and started swearing and stuff at them then she started dialing her cell phone and they ran. im suprised that cop didnt yell at u, in our town the cops are jackasses
wicked funny and if that guy tried to hit me i would write down his license plate# and tell the police then before they were there i would start kicking at the side of his car especially for endangering my life by turning off his lights and still drivin
i don't know what i would do if i thought some kids were holding a rope in front of my car. probably speed through. this was pretty entertaining though. creative
