  • Why was Elvis Parkers only successfull act...need I ask.

  • Jerry Lee always hated Elvis because Elvis was #1 and Elvis was known too be conceded and arrogant because he knew he was #1..............

  • anybody wanna buy a duck?

  • Johnny cash, carl perkins, jerry lee lewis and elvis? Surely the worlds first supergroup?

  • cool shades...

  • love the shirt

  • yes He's talking about some old rock and roll guys I wish he would talk about Fast Times, spicoli was cool maahaa

  • I have no sound. Is this Sean Penn?

  • hell, Johnny Cash was more talented as well..plus Buddy Holly, Buddy Guy, Muddy Waters, Chuck Berry etcetcetc all most all others during that time..Elvis was a crafefully packaged commodity by tom parker..sold like a sideshow act.

  • @Pre00 Well it worked. He was named the Greatest Entertainer of The 20th Century by the Smithsonian Institution. And sold close to 2 Billion Records. So for every 1 person like you who didn't like him, there were 1,000 more like me who did. Case closed. The Colonel did good....

  • @jhowej3 The Colonel was nothing but a fucking crook. Pure and Simple.

  • @inilledra The COLONEL made him what he became. You don't know squat about the entertainment business. Sam Phillips said OVER & OVER bring me a white guy that can entertain like a Black man and I'll make him a star. WYNONNIE HARRIS= ELVIS PRESLEY.

  • @THEMOJOMANsince1959 ELVIS MADE THE COLONEL WHAT HE BECAME. Without Elvis' talent and tenacity, Colonel Parker wouldn't have been able to do anything. It worked hand in hand. The only difference is that Colonel Parker was a lifesucking cockroach businessman.

  • @matizzle32 Never ever believe THE HYPE (or as they call it as of late The Spin) I was heavy into the radio/records/promotion business for many years. None of these people are NEVER how you imagine them. Once in the mid 60's James Brown told me back stage,,"have the balance of what you owe us right after I do the cape over my back deal so I can get the hell outa here before these N*****S ask me for something,,,they all think I owe them because I'm black".He was a gentleman and a businessman.

  • @THEMOJOMANsince1959

    Ok....that's irrelevant.

  • @jhowej3 '' Artist of the Century '' by the RIAA and Billboard

  • @Pre00 A commodity? Yes indeedy. Bloody hell! Tell me of another similar sideshow act like Elvis and we'll go half each when we carefully market him. Unfortunatly, we could search until we have white beards down to the floor and we still wouldn't hit pay dirt. Did you know a deed pole came up with the conclusion that people who hate Elvis are either ugly or jealous?

  • That's Bullshit. Carl Perkins was having a session and Elvis stopped by to see Carl. Johnny Cash and Elvis talked for awhile when they were in recording. When the session was over, Carl's brothers left. Jerry Lee just happened to stop by, not knowing Elvis was there. Elvis had left Sun Records by then and was with RCA Victor. Jerry always has to be the important one.. saying Elvis came to see him. If you listen to the tape, Carl introduces Jerry Lee to Elvis.

  • @jhowej3 And when Carl introduces them, Elvis and Carl had been jamming for over half the recorded album. Sam just happened to turn on the tape machine. As this wasn't planned. Johnny Cash sang one song with Carl, Jerry Lee and Elvis, then he left. Johnny Cash was at Sun to set up a recording session for later, as Sam Phillips had him come in. So, Jerry Lee Lewis is full of shit. His movie was shit, and he always has to be the important one. How many hits did he have?

  • @jhowej3 Jerry Lee had 3 Big Hits in his Career. Whole Lotta Shakin Goin On, The High School Hop, Great Balls of Fire. Elvis had 14 Gold Records in his first 2 years with RCA, and sold over 2 Billion Records Worldwide. Jerry Lee hasn't sold more than 25 Million. Big Difference huh folks. Elvis did not go to see Jerry Lee and meet him. He went to see Sam Phillips and Carl Perkins. And Elvis wasn't in Florida. He was just getting back from Los Angeles, CA. Case Closed,

  • @jhowej3 And, one more point.... Elvis' Sun Records releases sold more copies than Jerry Lee's 3 big hits.... Elvis 54 and 55 Sun Records are bigger sellers... and Jerry Lee says he would have been bigger than Elvis.... shit. Jerry Lee you're in dreamland there buddy and a fool.

  • @jhowej3 ..and yet, Jerry had more musical talent in 1 hand than Elvis' whole body..get real, Elvis was a pretty boy performer who sang songs most of which originally done by black musicians..Elvis may be king, but Jerry Lee is the foundation of which his castle stands..

  • @Pre00 Is that so? Elvis was named by the Smithsonian Institution in Washington as the "Greatest Entertainer of the 20th Century". Elvis sold over 1.5 Billion Records. (How many did Jerry Lee Lewis sell? At last count by the RIAA, 31 Million). Elvis is the only entertainer in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Country Hall of Fame, Gospel Hall of Fame, and Rythm & Blues Hall of Fame. Jerry Lewis has always been jealous of Elvis and can only dream of a career like Elvis'..

  • @Pre00 What talent. Bang on a piano and scream? You call that talent?

  • @Pre00

Wow. The facts are hitting you right in the face and you're still a bleeding moron. Just give up on life and jump off a cliff. PLEASE. It will benefit you.

  • @jhowej3 he could of been bigger than Elvis, had Elvis stayed an electrician..

  • @EricVonZipper2 That is so true my man.... so true!

  • @EricVonZipper2 Elvis was a truck driver..............not an electrician.

  • @inilledra the multiple biographies I've seen/read had him as a truck driver studying to be an electrician, unless they are all wrong. Think he even said as much in an interview.

  • @EricVonZipper2 Elvis drove truck for an electric company.

  • @inilledra Elvis was driving a truck whilst studying to become an electrician for the Crown Electric company.

  • This was a great album, a part of Rock 'n' Roll history !

  • … I like this interview. And it was a plaisir to see Mister Lewis again.
