I have to say the 2007 FZ1 I have is a fun bike to ride. I wish they would ad another 30 horse power to it. That would make it a Bad Ass Bike!

Great video ,looks like alot of fun.I have an o6 fz1 w 24000 miles all mine.But Iam looking for a louder exhaust at lower and higher rpm's that wont rob horsepower.

I currently have a Ninja 650R and love it, but am looking to move to an inline 4 in the future. Fz1 is right up at the top of my list, but I've been hearing that the stock fueling map is not good and that the fuel cut in the midrange makes for a choppy ride above 5500rpm. What would you say your experience in the matter is?

can you clutchless shift the fz1?

@ssbeane yup =D i just bought me an fz1 about 3 weeks ago and sure enough it shifts up or down just like any bike these days, i just read a post wrong it sounded like somebody said the fz1 cant clutchless shift, anyways, i love my fz1, it came with the lower fairings and full gyt-r exhaust system. last week me and my wife road the fz1 from daytona beach to tampa bay (the other coast) and came back the same night, it was a such blast and what a comfy bike to take the trip on! i love my fz1 =D

That is crazy guy! 12 years ago I hit a dog at 100+ MPH going through a rural town like the ones shown here. Phucker ran right into the road and nothing I could do. Tore him completely in half, sent me tumbling/sliding 60 yards downrange. 3 broken ribs, punctured lung, broken wrist and tibia.  3 weeks in hospital and lots of oxycodone later, I was back on the bike. If it wasn't for my full leathers and body armor I would not be writing this. Lucky no poles or cars in my path.

@ragtis you and"Menza" are great! I wouldn't have guessed a near 60 yr. old and a "50 somehing"old guy would be riding FZ1's!! I'm about to turn 48 in 3 months and am getting out of my cruiser stage and getting an FZ1 or FZ6 myself. I don't come across guys my age or OLDER on these bikes. Be safe guys! Steve in Illinois

Hey gixxer450 my son fabricated it by hand. It was pretty simple looks okay. I'll take a pic of the mount if you like and send it to you. Might be a while I can't walk right now, dam gout, knees, shoulders, and my back our all screwed up at once, Plus I can't see or hear anymore lol. I may make a better video then this one. I got to going pretty fast towards the end of summer wish I would have had the cam. Had a few good races with some young bucks.

I went en got me a red 2008 FZ1 a couple of weeks ago, traded in a katana 600 and I must say I don't have a single ounce of buyer's regret. this bike is a wolf in sheep's clothing.... an upright R1 i do believe. Nice riding...
