this is probably one of my more favorite guitar pieces and it was beautifully played. i also checked more into classical guitars since i last asked you about them, and i found a cordoba C5-CE for $305 US, and some heavy tension d'addario strings. i listened to a few reviews and quite a few performances on it, and it sounded beautiful. its also going to be here by my birthday, going to be a very happy cinco de mayo! every year i get into a spanish style mood around my birthday.

I understand that you performs "Arroyos de la Alhambra" - but this one is ..

"Tonadilla"...Because there is another piece to Arroyos de la Alhambra - called as " Evocación". I have the two scores published by Ediciones Musicales Madrid, España. It is a nice music and nice performing, as well!

Thank you. I think you will have to read a theory book in music. This si nothing you can learn by ear, you have to study it. No, I don't think Barrios ever used a phrygian scale... But I don't know all his muisc... This is in e-minor.
