@Medievalpacman - For a lot of reasons. On this case, Donald Duck is my favorite fictional character ever, and I enjoy his misadventures for the entertainment they provide, even if the shorts pale in comparison with Barks' version of the waterfowl. Btw, Walt Disney had little to none input on this cartoon. By the time this was being produced, he had lost interest on the short subjects; his involvement was tangential at best. Those listed in the opening credits are to applaud, not Walt.
