What I do is I usually take a simple yet personal phrase that's easy for me to remember, and replace a bunch of the letters with numbers or other characters that look like them - GooglePrivacy might become G00g\3Pr1v@<y. Still easy to remember, yet nearly impossible to guess. Who would guess something like G00g\3Pr1v@<y?
By way, that was just example, apart from iPod, those were just made up names/d.o.b etc. once I created a password about 57 characters long using my method and still can easily remember it.
Part2: Here is an example of how I would put those things together.Creatures is fav game and my name joe,&sisters name jaz&I where born 1976&jaz 1921: "creaturs@ipod4@jjoaez7261" now that is a very strong password&if those were my name/D.o.b, 100% rememberable
Easy rememberable way for me is to mix in a lot of words of stuff I like.E.g, I am big fan of games so I would put mix in maybe half name of fav game, then a symbol like "@", then my next favorite thing like iPod and mix mine/sisters d.o.b's/names together... ...post part2 in new post
Easy to memorize passwords are called "MNEMONIC Passwords". You can find various generators on the web, just search for "Mnemonic Password Generator": Examples: eded51ev, eba50keh, alo71dot, icix31ef, ....
