Remember though, Reed didn't have as much practice time as the rest of the guys. I'm not a Reed fan but he will run with Ryan and he may beat him as the season goes on! Alessi always wears down after halfway point, I saw Alessi lose a HUGE lead to Windham at Unadilla or Southwick a year or two back can't remember which track it was, Alessi had a 20 second lead or more and Windham caught and passed him. HE ALWAYS FADES!

I honestly think that Villopoto could beat Stewart outdoors this year! That's probably why he decided not to race the Nationals this Summer! I guess we'll never know. Chad Reed couldn't even come close to Ryan's pace at Glen Helen! As long as he stays healthy, I just can't see anyone beating him. Alessis is fast, but Villopoto always seems to wear him down in the end! He's been doing that since they were little kids racing 80"s

You have it backwards. Stewart could sometimes maybe stay with Carmichael outdoors. Most of the time Carmichael was getting bad starts and coming from waaaaay behind to pass and beat Stewart by 15-30 seconds.
