  • LOL this has nothin to do with the greek elemental music.. this is typical macedonian has nothin to do with the greek elements of music.

  • @ifkasa Unfortunatelly for you, this is not true. Please ask any musician, and he will tell you, that the rythms in Macedonia are exactly the same with the rest of the Greece. The only which is different is the fact that in Macedonia is used bagpipes nad trompets, and in the southern Greece klarinno. But gaida (bagpipes) is the most ancient Greek instrumenr (came in Greece at 2nd century A.C.)

  • @dimitris804 ok forgot that all damn world is greek.. sorry

  • @ifkasa Greece is Greece. Not the whole word, but Greece is: Thrace, Epirus, Thessaly, Macedonia, Central Greece, Peloponnisos, Crete, Ionian islands, Aegean islands. Ok? Now please don't annoy me.

  • @ifkasa the whole damn world is Greek

  • @ifkasa

This is not macedonian either. IT IS TYPICAL THRACIAN SOUNDS! In ancient ages Western Thracia reached the parts what today is Central Greek Macedonia. Anyhow the sounds are inspired by ancient Helleic Music. Besides everything south of Danube was also related to the ancient Hellenic World in spirit and music.

  • @Zeuxis5511

Further more this is an ALEXANDRINE HELLENIC DANCE from Gida-Platy-Alexandreia outside Thessaloniki and this dance is danced all over Macedonia. Their female dresses (costumes) are made of goat skin and you may find this costumes only in Alexandreia. This song is their most beloved song. This is Hellenic because you may find equal dances and rhythm even among the Pontian Greeks who lived in Nothern Black Sea.
