Wow. You know what really amazes me? There are about five recordings of Eric playing this, and not once does he hit the last note! Great Work!

@rdt1314 in eric's cd he hits the final double c perfectly with a gorgeous, rich tone. Plus in the live recordings you are referring to, he would be playing a whole evening of Maynard stuff as well!!

@GFLJOboss Yer, I used to do high A's on 3rd, but various people have told me to try it on 1. Never turning back! It just opens up the sound, but i mean it all depends on the shape of your face, trumpet and your inner mouth!
