Hi Clark...well, I did not know that..and I'm very sorry to hear that you've been ripped off. not so sorry for King Doublebasses, because I dealt with Brad for 1,5 years for a gigbag and preamp, which I allready payed, and never got... I'm sorry for you. I heard that Brad was fired last year, whatever...It's a pity that lousy businessmanship destroys such a fabulous idea.
i am going to get a double bass and i dont know what one to get i am thinking about the slap king or i might get a full size off thomann what should i get
I do like the K and K myself. I currently have one of those on my current bass. The only drawback is having fresh batteries in it constantly or you lose the "sound". Good video.
haha, yeah, I'm a fucking GAS addict, I can't help it...black and white? do you mean the Rickenbacker bass? well, its not black... in fact it is turquoise, but it looks very dark in the vid...well, maybe I'll have some spare time somewhen and I'll make a clip, but not in the near future..best regards
Argh, I can hardly hear you, but the slapping sounds great! Stop buying instruments all the time! And if you have the time, make a demo video about that black and white bass guitar behind you (it's more visible in the Holy Grail vid)

Are you using the King Piezo pickup when you plug it in to an amp?

I ordered the pickup about 5 months ago..and paid it too..but they dont answer my mails and what so...I play through K&K Rockabilly Pickups nowadays

rotosounds uh, you should give Labella SuperNils a try, they're nylon too but the E and A are would with metal, still very easy to play
