The Somalian overnment is week and has no teeth. let the various other nations whose ships ply there form a maritime security Group, not just America alone, and blast any unidentified or suspected pirate vessel out the sea lanes. Or when there is a SOS call from an attacked ship, blast these parasites out the waters.

Companies that ship through this area need to caravan with security through this narrow passage. They know the pirates are there, so why do they keep trying to get through without security. The Navies can't cover all this area. I lock my doors and am armed so that my family is protected. Why shouldn't the shippers do the same?

There are a couple of things that must be taken into consideration:-
1. For the pirates it has become a lucrative way of living but does'nt make it right.
2. The situation is like there is no security in the bank.. It is like any group with firepower can hold up the bank and take hostages.
