  • Are there any newer Bible translations that don't translate the words as "hell"? I am a fan of the ESV, but then I looked up the words and they do translate the words as "hell" :( Also, how easy are these Bibles to get? Can I go to a Christian bookstore and find them there?

  • Look how you call Christians names in posts. Your tongue reveals the condition of your heart. JESUS SAVES, He saves from something. Thank God few even bother to watch your videos. I hope it stays that way. You have a lot of videos, so maybe a few here and a few there will add up. Heaven forbid. As I've said before, it isn't your message on Hell that bothers me so much. I don't really know what Hell is, but I know it's there. But whatever it is, your message of salvation will take people there.

  • @4GodSoLoves It seems hypocrisy is your state being. You accuse me of name-calling and then do the same. You say my message of Hell there is no hell doesn't bother you an in the same breath you say you know Hell is there and then accuse me that my message will send people there. You give me more power than God, according to your beliefs. I'd say that's heresy! "God WILL HAVE ALL MEN BE SAVED AND COME TO THE KNOWELDGE OF THE TRUTH." 1 Tim 2:4. If that's too big for you, exchange your idol.

  • I will look at your cite, I gravitate toward truth as revealed in God's word, all of His bride do the same.

  • @JoaquinJB Well, Joaquin, Jesus did say that tax-collectors, prostitutes and the likes of Anton Layey would enter the kingdom before self-righteous hypocrites who stand as judge. So I'm not surprised to see a street sinner like lavey come to the knowledge of the truth before a smug blasphemer of God such as yourself. I believe universal salvation because the Bible says so, not Anton Lavay or his book. What don't you get about "jesus Christ, Savior of the world?" John 4:42, 1 John 4:14

  • @tentmaker777

Mr. Cherry pick, again you cite verses but where is the context? Joh 4:42 that ignores John 15:6 is simply lying. Hebrews 2:9 does not ingnore Jesus in John 8:52, not to mention Heb. 10:27-31. The true Jesus taught His disciples to overcome to inheirit eternal life, Rev. 3:5.

What is the motive of a mna who ingnores these plus scores of other scriptures?

Whether you like it or not you are making a god into your image, loves speaks the truth.

  • @JoaquinJB Oh, so you believe you can "work" your way into heaven, you are one of those "self-righteous" ones who doesn't really need Jesus for anything, you've got it all covered. So then, I'll do exactly what you do that you accuse me of, cherry pick a PLAIN VERSE from the Bible: "Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Eph 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. " Your boasting in your "overcoming" are vain. You remain in sin.

  • @tentmaker777 Sir please don't stop at Ephesians 2:8,9 what does verse 10 say??

vs. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.

I'm not boasting sir, that's a false judgment, Revelation ch 2,3 Jesus gives life to overcomers, do you have a diff. Jesus?

Eph 5:6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.

    Please explain.

  • @JoaquinJB Oh, I think eph 2:10 works along my lines not yours. For we see the "works" it talks about are not YOUR works, lest we do what you seem to do incessantly, that is, boast in your works. No, these works are prepared by God from the foundation of the world. They are God's works created for our pleasure. There's a big difference between your self-righteousness, Joaquin, and God's righteousness. You paint God darkly, like the spirit that presently possesses you.

  • @tentmaker777

Sir you made up saying I am trusting in works to deny your cherry picking. I simply showed verses that declare a saved person will have works and Revelation comes from the Master's lips, "he who overcomes".

You call me self righteous for quoting the Bible, (God has a record of my life), this is ungodly judgement which Jesus warned of, I judge that you indorse Bibles that agree with your doctrine and they come from Satan himself. "looks like a lamb, speaks like dragon."

  • @JoaquinJB No, sir, you select the darkest of verses to describe God while ignoring the more glorious. Jesus is the savior of the world, mercy triumphs over judgment. You deny this. I call you "self" righteous because you exhalt yourself above most of the rest of the world, claiming salvation for yourself while denying it for others.

  • @tentmaker777 No one can deny or affirm salvation for anyone but God, you give me more power than the Bible does. So you do not deny God is discribed by "darkest verses" and affirm others are more "glorious"? You have just defined yourself as a living breathing idolater, that is, a man who makes up a god in his own mind to suit himself. You don't like the Biblical description of god so you craft another that is more palatable.

Thomas Jefferson has a version w/o miricles, he didn't like them.

  • @JoaquinJB At our new site "lovewins" that has a us instead of dot com or dot org extension, is a category called "love gems" that has a brief excerpt from "Bible Threatenings Explained" entitled "God is a Love That Never fails." Read it. It will take a couple days for google to index it. It puts those "dark verses" that you seem to be gravitated to in proper context to a God who is love and whose compassion fails not. May God grant you divine light for the dark light you presently possess.

  • @tentmaker777 Mercy triumphs over judgment, halleluia, for those who repent, which is God's condition of salvation. Many do not repent, therefore many do not exp. mercy, I wish they would repent so I preach the gospel to them. The "world" we are told to not love, and to be saved out of, so God's love for the world that is lost also allows many in that world to reject Him. God has many warnings to believers and many promises, to take one and not the other is scripture twisting, 2peter3:11-18.

  • @JoaquinJB It does NOT say "for those who repent." YOU added that. But just to show you everyone WILL repent, have you not read, "Every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess Jesus is Lord to the glory of God the Father." Rom. 14:11 Phil 2:9-11, Rev. 5:13 Death does not stop Jesus. He has the keys and knows what to do with them. Why are you in such unbelief? Have you swallowed the "traditions of men which make the word of God of no effect?" I fear you have. So then it is YOU to repent!

  • Sir, now I know you are deceieved.

Research Johann Greber before you promote him. he wrote another book called "Communication with the spirit world" In it he communicates with demons and they gave him his translation.

Are you in agreement with communication with the spirit world for spiritual insight into God's world?

You need a healthy fear of God, read 1 and 2 Peter please.

  • @JoaquinJB I do not defend all no hell translastion or their authors. I'm aware of his "spiritism" practices from the intro to his translation. His translation base was Codex D, and that's NOT a demon. :-) So are you the kind who finds a bowl of cherries and throws them all out as soon as they find a single one with blemishes? If so, do the same with those translations you presently hold infallible. Consistency demands you throw them out as well. And you need a healthy dose of God's love.

  • @tentmaker777

God's love is based in truth sir. This is your greatest deception. God's love is demonstrative in a bloody cross. Taken to its logical and simple conclusion your god and that of Bell have no need of sending Jesus to suffer and die for us, consequently you have a different god. What does your Jesus save you from? Your love is meaningless because it is void of distinction and holiness. By praising Bell and cherry picking verses you show that SIN not love wins

  • @JoaquinJB The wages of sin is DEATH, not staying alive being eternally tortured by a so-called loving God. Jesus DIED FOR MY SINS. He "tasted death for every man." He led captivity captive. He ransomed me from DEATH. It is your love that is meaningless, Joaquin, because no humane mother could ever do to one of her children what you ascribe to God. You speak of Anton Lavey. Heck, the diabolical image of God you present us makes Lavey's system look saintly. Your god is a fiend not a friend.

  • @tentmaker777 Mat 26:24 "... but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been good for that man if he had not been born."

Non existence would be better than non existence?

Rev 14:9-11=no rest day or night, this is God's word not mine.

Rev 4:8 angels worship day and night!

Mat 25:46 "These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."

If hell is not eternal then either is heaven, where is the universal teaching here?

  • Jesus is the only way.

  • @0Beautifulbrutality0

    I agree with you wholeheartedly.

  • In Ephesians 2: 8 "For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is a gift of God-not of works lest and any man should boast.

It is only through the atoning blood of Jesus that we are saved. I will say more on this Gospel of Inclusion or Universalism later on which originated with Origen, who was a heritic. He believed that even Satan and his angles would be saved. There is no purgatory (a pagan concept), because Jesus never mentioned it.

  • @concerto35 You obviously know little about the early church. Universalism is much older than Origen and he was the greatest Christian scholar of his time. You are spreading rumors, not facts. I suggest you do some independent study before you accuse God's saints as heretics. Get wise, really.

  • If there is no hell, why did Jesus die for our sins? In the King James Version, Jesus states that "it better to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go to hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched" (Mark 9: 43). As a matter of fact, hell and fire are mentioned in Mark 9: 43-48 a number of times: Hell is mentioned three times and fire is mentioned six times.

  • to reconcile all things with God(Col 1:20)? to free us from the law of sin and death(ro 8:2)? to be the propriation for not only our sins(believer's sins) but for the WHOLE world(1 john 2:2)? there being no eternal hell changes none of that, the only thing it changes is that Jesus's mission to save all mankind was a 100% success, not a 90% failure.

Jesus spoke in parables, so to take people being physically maimed and fire as literal things is missing the point that Jesus is making here

  • What I believe Jesus is talking about, is that its better to SPIRITUALLY remove parts of your life that cause you to sin, than to deal with their consequences, particularly the gehenna/lake of fire judgment which is NOT eternal. The "unquenchable" word doesnt mean eternal, look at Lev 6:12-13 it talks about a fire that is "not quenched" but who honestly believes those altar fires in the aaronic priesthood are still burning today? again, its figurative langage

  • @concerto35 The wages of sin is death not eternal torment,Romans ch.,6,verse 23. Jesus came to save us from the penalty of sin which is death not eternal torment in a fabeled Hell.

  • @concerto35 So first you are quick to label people heretics and now you show us that you are a hypocrite as well. In your church, how many one-eyed, one handed saints are there? If YOU really took this verse literally for YOURSELF, you SHOULD be one-eyed and one-handed, shouldn't you. But you're not. You use scriptures to judge others while pardoning yourself. Heaven and earth call that hypocrisy. Look at who Jesus called hypocrite and then go to the mirror and find another one, yourself.

  • The King James Bible 1611 has the word " hell" translated 54 times in it. This Bible was translated from the authentic Masoretic Texts (Old Testament) and the New Testament (Textus Receptus).

  • keep speaking the truth gary...it has blessed me and many others

  • 5 stars for your experience, 5 stars for knowing the conflicting scriptures in different versions, 5 stars for knowing that the original text is the best version, and 5 stars for the comic relief, yet true title "toxic bibles".

  • TRUTH !
