@qbking77 I did it on thursday and it worked perfectly. Downloaded the manual update from cnet and everything went smoothly. ICS is great. Works perfectly on Nexus s.

I've got the latest gingerbread version (2.3.6) i've never root or did anything to my phone (so i guess it's suppose to be on stock) the network type is the UMTS and most of all i've follow your excellent step by step tuttorial!!!!!! what is wrong with my phone ????

Worked here on an unlocked Nexus S. After your final step it rolls some command lines saying it is updating, installing, etc. Then stops at a menu you press reboot. Then it reboot to the new comic style fractal load screen and voila, 4.0 is there with a tutorial.

No files missing, no setting missing, runs kind of choppy in the first seconds (I suppose some background tasks are still running) but after a couple of minutes it is smooth. :)

@parmrox T-Mobile Nexus S has a different radio than the i9020a, don't install this on a Canadian version. Wait for the AT&T version to be uploaded for ours unless you want a paperweight. The procedure should be the same but different update file.
