I saw Mooney falls during a flash flood once! I was on the island in the middle. I was just a dumb kid at the time. My dad shouted at me from the rim above the trail down and miraculously I heard him even with mooney falls flooding! Luckily it wasnt a flood like the one going on right now with the dam break. I went once in 92 before the 93 flood -then went after and saw the results... Its amazing how much the place changed after that. but revitalized itself very quickly. Trees grow fast there
that's so sad :'(

i was at the bottom during the aug 06 flood when the storm surge came over. It was one of the coolest things i have ever seen.
