  • what an amazing amazing amazing performance!!!

  • In the words of Tina Turner: "Simply the BEST, better than all the rest"!

    Still and forever the GREATEST!

  • He is simply the BEST !!

And his face at the end is adorable xD

  • Amazzzing programme

    Fantastic perfomance!!

  • i honestly think this is the best death drop i've ever seen. he is a GOD. no one else will ever compare. he had absolutely everything, artistry and athleticism combined into one amazing skater.

  • Was a double axel a compulsory element in men's short programme? It's just strange to see that he had to do that double axel.

  • Love him in enrtervies because he seems to say what he is really thinking!!! Gotoa love htis guya nd his AWESOME SKATING!!

  • A-W-E-S-O-M-E

  • he is just flying on the ice!!!!!!!!! wow

  • Hi, Hannahrose - - his previous program was the cutesy clown one; this one showed more maturity, long lines, enthusiasm. I wasn't as enthused by "Tosca" and "Broken Arrow" because the music was slow, didn't arouse crowd enthusiasm. I didn't like the music to "Overcome" either; however, I love his footwork during that exhibition program - - his choreography in "Racing" is also clever. I watch recent videos of him and think he made the right decision. I'd rather people remember him at his best!

  • Je t'adore Alexei Yagudin. he is just phenominal..truly is =] x

  • Absolutely - - his choreography was unmatched once he had Tatiana start coaching him. While Plushenko seems to build up speed for a jump, Alexei continues making his program interesting by clever footwork and arm movements as he gains speed. I don't think next year's Olympians have reached his level yet - - many don't do one quad; Alexei and his opponents were doing TWO. He and Tatiana interpret music better than any other skater or choreographer.

  • i agree, i am xX0oHannahrose btw haha, new programme, something seemed to happen to the other one, its just such a shame he had to stop skating so early due to his hip :(:( he remains the best skater ever in my mind though :) xx

  • I really hate the clapping along audience.

  • :-( i miss him!

  • Alexei can rock my nuts anytime he wants to.

  • His skating is amazingly fast.. He looks like doing speed skating...

  • I really love everything about this program !! It's probably one of my favorite... so much elegance and kindness in all his movements and expressions... and such a pretty face (^.^) !!

    Perfect as usual !!!

  • me 2 O(∩_∩)O哈哈~

  • brilliant! lave him!!!

  • it's yagudin and the other skaters ..as terrible as it sounds ...there was never such a great skater in the world ...he really loves to compete, skate , dance and feel the music ..it gives me shivers everytime I watch him

  • Looking back, I can't believe how young (barely 20) he was by the time he already won 3 world titles. He won his fourth and final world title at age 22, which is when most guys just start winning. Both he and Evgeny Plushenko started when they were really young.

  • I love this music, does anyone know the name of the song he's skating to? I know it's from Nutcracker, but I would like to know the name of the song :)

  • It's "Nutrocker" by Robert Wells. It was also played live at Gothenborg 2008 Gala.

  • Admittedly I haven't really watched figure skating in recent years but come one, could anybody ever really beat this performance?! Except maybe Alexei himself did with 'Winter' in Salt Lake City... :)

  • @Fritha71 I'm pretty sure he beated himself the year after, his SP on Chopin etude was amazing!

  • Love him...wonderful playfulness, and elegance. His best Nutrocker performance and those jumps - especially the Axel x combo...:)

    Cutest boy ever...

  • He got cuter, and cuter with every year. I remember I thought he looked rather like a cute, chubby cheeked chipmunk back in 1997-1998. By the 2002 Olympics-Handsome Hotness. ;)

  • That face was perfect- sums up how I was feeling- aagh the tension!! lol

  • wow!He is so dynamic and seems to have a great time on ice,so fresh and joyfull! And how modest and cute he is durring the interview, such a great guy

  • The face he pulled at the end! - he always goofs around like that and I love it!

But what a superb program! Love the outfit, love him "playing" the instruments, love everything!
