Hmmm.. we had 3 hurricanes in 2004 in central FL. 1st one - I was scared. A tree fell on our house. I had just begun believing in Jesus around that time. My little 3 yr old boy looked at me and said "don't be afraid." Then we started talking about the story of Jesus sleeping in the boat through the storm." I slept through the other 2 hurricanes. So much rain that year. God spoke to me several times through physical storms that year. So neat. Yep, I know I sound crazy.

You don't sound crazy at all. Just how God has made all unique, we are all unique in the way that we talk to God and relate to him, and the way he moves through us. It sounds like God moved through you and your family that day. He gives us the peace that passes all understanding, so if someone doesn't understand what you've said, great.
