hi.. i have symphonic and the wordbuilder Kompakt.. but could you help me to connect wordbuilder with symphonics? in the midi port in i select my keyboard (MicroX) then in midi out option begins the problem... I have 3 options only ( NONE, MICROX (my midikeyboard) , and microsoft GS wavetable... but there should be an option which it said eastwest 1 (as a port) please I am becoming crazy help me ..... thanks

Nothing The eastwest player(kontakt player model) does'nt loads the EAst West Quantum Leap Symphonic CHoir (27 .nki files, so many GB), and also the word builder does'nt does it. They see it, but don't load nothing, not even the blue keys don't appear? I'm loading files and creating an istrument with Kontakt's sampler, putting the "ah" and "eh"" until now and changing from this to that with an automation. But is too long, hard and awkward!!! nobody here know why They don't do that? PLEASE HELP

I have no letter menu on the left side of the letter. I have the latest version of WordBuilder for Mac. I have to go to menu at top to do the letter-specific velocity change.

I am using WB integrated into EW Play 2.1.1. Alas, WB crashes Logic Studio 8 a lot. I do only one Play instance at a time, bouncing each track to AIF. However, I was able to create a short passage with "three virtual tenors" singing "celebrate" in rich harmony. Sounds very good!

@TheCheezMusic Hey thanks for responding! I am can use Symphonic Choirs itself as a VST plug in, but when I try to use wordbuilder as a MIDI insert, it does not work. So I guess my problem is with wordbuilder. I use it as a MIDI insert and have symph choirs up, I select the a wb library, but no sound! I need help getting wordbuilder to send the info to symph choirs correctly! Any help appreciated :)

Hi greetings! can I use midi files which i wrote  and make the choir perfom the notes that I did set there previously? or even write midi through syphonic choirs?

@marleysheredder You are able to load Symphonic Choirs in your sequencer of choice (Cubase, Logic, etc.) and then have the sequencer play the midi file into it. There may be other options, as well, but I think this would be the best way.

Since i heard Symphonic Choirs for thr first time , it sounds like magic, there's nothing similiar and ordered it. Once again thanks a lot for worthy helping hand ^^

we have the complete composer's collection but we cant figure out how to play the words we type in to make the choir sing, we type it in but theres no sound, help please!

Is it? I wasn't really interested in upgrading to play anyways. I don't know why they have to make the system requirements so high because regardless it's still the same library. Plus I see nothing wrong with the Kontakt player, so I didn't see a need to upgrade because I rather have better performance. Especially when using multiple plugins at once. Some are heavy enough as it is.

It sure is. At first (after so many hours of trying to install it correctly) it actually worked pretty fine, but if you ever update it to a later version, you are doomed. I'm afraid to even change the settings. There is always something wrong with Play. I want Kontakt.

Okay seriously people, I am having a problem with wordbuilder MIDI Out, there is no MIDI routing to the Choir, I looked EVERYWHERE and there is no solution, can SOMEONE please tell me how to install a MIDI Device to get this to work!

Everyone getting no sound try installing Midi Yoke. Google it, it's free software. I used it back in 2006 one time. It will work, you need to set it up properly.

I want to use symphonic choirs/wordbuilder with SONAR 8

I had this problems :

1- tracks 1&2 have no sound (I fixed it by adding the MIDI file 2 tracks above, that will remain mute, and the 4 of the choir do have sound)

2-Sopranos only reach a G4 above, so half of the notes are out of range and dont sound (fixed it by adding ALTOS in the SOP voice)

3-Have NO IDEA how to use wordbuilder with Sonar (I only could add it in the FX and open it, but nothing more)

Same problem here. If you open Windows' playback options and turn up the "MIDI" volume, I get a piano-sound wich probably is the sound where Symphonic Choirs should play the words. Because when I press down on the keyboard, the piano plays off as if it was a word. When I release the keys on the piano, the other part of the word comes.. Help? :x

Put midi-in on port 1 in Wordbuilder and midi-out on port 2... Start Symphonic Choirs and put midi-in on port 2... Hope it works for you
