As an exterior observer I can see that something is wrong with america. truth is, the world is changing, and this country that used to be the leader in so many issues is now last. You don't realize how you're views of the world and your fears are irrational... your leaders are acting like they can still afford to control every single part of the world.
America has never entered the 21st century, and you people are being controled by your government. They're making up your fears. This is not a scary planet. And talking with Iran won't kill you.
I believe in Obama because his views on every single issues are rationnal and because the biggest change he could bring is already happening, an whole new generation of young americans are getting involved in politics.
The hope he gives me is the hope that America can still stop living in the past. Find its values. i mean, come on, America is a good country, and you could do so much more! And the mindset that got you into Iraq has got to change.
I would vote for an independant but I also have to be realistic. You've got the perfect timing, the perfect candidate, and I prefer spending my time wondering if he's really going to change the world than if McCain is really going to wipe Iran off the map
