PSO Ver.1 on Chankast [Dreamcast emulator]

@Rovelius Hey, you can just get PSO for pc which is 99% like PSO ver2 on the Dreamcast. it is completely compatible and you can play it online. You can DL it from psopalace . sylverant . net

Hey let me know what video plugin to use for Null DC Since I play my games from the pc not the CD Drive.Phantasy Star V1 and V2 works fine for except for the choppy graphics.

Yes, it would be. I think that's why I have a Lv 158 on Schthack.

I did this just for fun and because I didn't play Ver.1 in years. Nostalgy, you see.

Ah, I see. Well, if you have a 360 controller, you should be able to map it to the emulator's controls.

I don't have a 360 yet... I do have a PC gamepad though but it just didn't feel natural to me.

Well, you don't need a 360 to but a wired 360 controller, since the drivers for it are easily googled . I use one for most of my emulators, and I figure it should feel alright while playing a DC game because it has a similar design to a DC controller. Maybe you could borrow one and test it out.

How can i make chankast use the ISO instead of reading from the cd drive.

It's a good emulator, i use my actual pso save files on that emulator and it's great, the graphics can be modified by aplying 1 or 2 options, but the options can NEVER make graphics good at all time.

nice video, do it like me, use the max resolurions and your graphic board options to make pso have a quality like no other.

Just make an ISO out of your CD and mount it. Chankast will make no difference betwen a virtual or real drive. It only fasten loading time though.

Ah and I usually play on 1024 res but I had to lower it a bit due to FRAPS eating my FPSs. I also force V-Sync to have playable framerate... if I don't, I sometimes go over 120 FPSs.
