your right, Alot of stylists can't cut curly hair. This client wears her hair straight all the time though. I otherwise wouldn't have cut it like this. I personally refer all my curly haired clients to be cut with one of my stylists that specializes in curly hair. She's certified by Deva Curl

She's going to hair her life once her hair goes back to its natural state. When I was in 6th grade I had the same cut, it's great until you have to straighten it again, and you burn the side of your head. The reason why stylists straighten curly hair is because they don't know how to cut curly hair properally, and that's what ends up making curly hair worse, unless you wear it straight everyday. It's not the stylist's fault, but most beauty schools don't teach how to properally cut curly hair.

yes she does actually. If you do a cut like this you have to straighten it before you cut it. Thats why the whole cut was done dry.
