While your protest about the problems of the criminality of prostitution are valid and good, you fail to acknowledge many of the dangers one faces when practicing prostitution in general, whether its legal or not. Soliciting sex is no easy job, and should be treated with caution. The legalization of prostitution should be about Freedom and civil rights, not necessarily how good prostitution is for society. It's illegal because someone thought it was bad for society.
