Final Verdict: Conan the Destroyer is a harmless sword-and-sorcery film but for people who want their fantasy with a little more oomph, then check out the original. This is just goofy entertainment. Crappy plot, to kids like. Lack of blood, lack vicious fight, lack of seriousness... Sorry no seriousness. Sidekick is dum idea( stupid Hollywood), wizard is weak...that"s lame. Gracy jones great actress but not needed. No nude, atmosphere that bright...

@crypter27 She didn't "lose the role" - her name came up amongst the list of actresses that they think might be right for the part, but during the casting process, they meet people and cut the list down. As Sarah didn't want to be always playing villains, she in effect ruled herself out.....I didn't mean to imply that she was turned down.

@crypter27 Yes........Grace remains a very close friend to this day, even though they only were in one scene together at the end where Dagoth has come to life. They bonded on the "down time" which is when the actors aren't filming because they crew aren't ready to shoot. Never really asked about Wilt, although he was very pleasant....and Arnold was a blast.....very good guy, lot of fun....took Sarah to a bull fight in Mexico City one weekend during the shoot.
