I thought it was funny how this whole scene was about the crane fucking up all the buildings, but yet after Spider Man saves Gwen Stacy he stops to chat with Eddie Brock before swinging off into the distance....

I guess Spider Man forgot about the big ass crane still swinging up there.

@Searchin0For0You Yes, she was Peter's first love if you don't count the relationship with Betty. She was killed by the Green Goblin after being knocked off the George Washington bridge. The new movie with Andrew Garfield is supposed to be based on Ultimate Spider-Man series where the continuity is very different than the original in respect to his love life.

My only gripe about Spider-man 3 is that Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy's love affair was so short. They were together for 2 days and then he went to the club and humiliated Mary Jane. Gwen was disgusted and that was the end of it. Could have been done better.
