the covers were no way close to Wolf's songs because with few exceptions the covers took the soul out of Wolf's carefully constructed messages and became riff platforms for the groups. some did so worse yet by flat-out infringing , like most all things ever done by LZ (the thieving magpies) do you think that Wolf's version s could not have had long solos and out of balance form ie.Huber t Sumlin solos etc.. going on and on?
