aww, whats wrong with elixir's? i use them, and they sound great! Martin strings suck! I can understand why Tommy recommends them, coz he is restringing his guitars every day before every show, and martin strings sound good for about 20 hours, but for people who can't afford or be bothered to change their strings every day, always elixir. fuck martin strings. you made the right choice putting elixirs on it.
@JoshuaRowGuitarist ya martins have a shorter life because they aren't coated. martin strings sound much better than elixirs when they are new. i'd rather have a string that sounded great for less overall playtime, rather than elixirs that sound just alright for a long period of time.
d'addario strings are also nice, and last a reasonable length of time

@MrPopeye47 J'avais monté des Elixir mais il n'aime pas. Il préfère les Martin SP. Je les ai essayées mais la brillance part vraiment trop vite.
