I dont get it cuz Ive never read the books and Im not going to until I finish my double trilogy While Mara is very cool from what I have heard but she comes off as the typical Lara Croft gorgeous kick butt self confident heroine while the girl that Luke falls for in my books Launa, she is depthy and has confidence issues is a bit of the unloved Jane Eyre type but she can fight like no other and Launa isnt gorgeous (shes not ugly though) but to Luke she has a quality that goes beyond looks
