When I create my character I dont see him/her I can choose a style,class,path and race. But when I am at the point that I need to customize him/her I dont see those arrows and colors to customize me look and when I skip that and just fill my name and create him/herand i enter the world it Loading...Please wait. I`m stuck here I`ve been waiting over 15 minutes now and it`s still stuck. Can anyone help me out here,anyways thanks if you are gonnna help me and please thumb this up so people can see.

@60123maria i dont exactly remember how but it was something like:start the game and login and when you can choose one of your charcters go to options. after that it was deactivate DX10 and activate DX9 i hope it helped you it helped me :D

@zigzag5100 its a nice game but around lvl 13 or 14 or so you caant really lvl fast without grinding the same questsover and over so VIP subscription is handy at that lvl but besides that its a very nice game.

@lionheart209 Use fraps to record gameplay. Fraps does only record clients and games that is installed on your pc. I recommend using Pinnacle VideoSpin for the editing. The best part is that it is free. And a bad thing is that fraps isnt free.

@corruptpeanut Well DDO and WOW are somewhat alike so transitions are not very difficult but some aspects are diffrent giving it ways to keep the games exciting

Does this game need flash player? Cause my computer doesn't have flash player and everytime I tried to download flashplayer it would go to the download screen then stop and shut down.
@TheSwagSociety A lot of the game is free, and you can get to the end of the game without spending a dime, though a little more work is required. When they went with the free-to-play tactic, they did things like most of the other F2P games. You can play the game all you want, but you will have to cough up if you want those high-end, but completely optional things.
@TearsofWarrior11234 You don;t have to pay monthly. You can unlock classes and races by collecting Favor points which you get for doing quests. You can also purchase points with money. In theory, you don't have to spend a dime if you play a lot and are really patient. I do spend some money occasionally to buy extra adventure packs. Not interested in the extra races and classes truth be told...plus I'm ot all that patient. :)

@MorrinWellSmith Well, no computer game can beat the pen&paper game if you have a good group of people and a decent DM. But many people I talk to have a hard time finding players close to where they live. So I guess playing D&D video games is the next best thing.
You don't have to buy it. you can download and play a good deal of content for free. Beside that, you have the option to become a VIP player (which means you pay a monthly fee and get full access to all content) or you can choose to buy Turbine points which you can use to purchase content like adventure packs, certain races and classes, and other trinkets like xp boosts and such.
@peri2502 Thing is -i can`t make an account(always get an error-few of my friends have same problem),i made one before (while DDO was P2P) but in order to activate it they ask to enter product key. :/
@MorrinWellSmith Hmm that is strange...I never was asked to enter a product key when I downloaded it. Maybe the fact that you downloaded it while it was still pay to play is the problem. My advice would be to uninstall DDO from your computer, then use your reg editor to find hidden program files and delete them. There is a chance that they may be responsible for the trouble, triggering the product key request and the error messages (since these files no longer apply). Then download game again.
@MajorShepard The game allows you to play a good deal of content for free. As I said before, you can in theory play all content for free because you collect favor points for doing quests which translate to Turbine Points in a rate of roughly 100:25. There are extra points awarded here and there. With turbine Points you can purchase adventure packs etc. Some races and abilities can also be unlocked automatically. For example: To unlock the Drow race you need 400 favor points.

@TheSwagSociety A lot of the game is free, and you can get to the end of the game without spending a dime, though a little more work is required. When they went with the free-to-play tactic, they did things like most of the other F2P games. You can play the game all you want, but you will have to cough up if you want those high-end, but completely optional things.

@TearsofWarrior11234 You don;t have to pay monthly. You can unlock classes and races by collecting Favor points which you get for doing quests. You can also purchase points with money. In theory, you don't have to spend a dime if you play a lot and are really patient. I do spend some money occasionally to buy extra adventure packs. Not interested in the extra races and classes truth be told...plus I'm ot all that patient. :)

You don't have to buy it. you can download and play a good deal of content for free. Beside that, you have the option to become a VIP player (which means you pay a monthly fee and get full access to all content) or you can choose to buy Turbine points which you can use to purchase content like adventure packs, certain races and classes, and other trinkets like xp boosts and such.

@MorrinWellSmith Hmm that is strange...I never was asked to enter a product key when I downloaded it. Maybe the fact that you downloaded it while it was still pay to play is the problem. My advice would be to uninstall DDO from your computer, then use your reg editor to find hidden program files and delete them. There is a chance that they may be responsible for the trouble, triggering the product key request and the error messages (since these files no longer apply). Then download game again.

@MajorShepard The game allows you to play a good deal of content for free. As I said before, you can in theory play all content for free because you collect favor points for doing quests which translate to Turbine Points in a rate of roughly 100:25. There are extra points awarded here and there. With turbine Points you can purchase adventure packs etc. Some races and abilities can also be unlocked automatically. For example: To unlock the Drow race you need 400 favor points.
